Meet Melissa {Owner/Admin, Reviewer, Weekly Memes and Random Things in Life}
I'm Melissa. I live in southeastern Wisconsin. My family is no longer "traditional" in the sense. Our household has grown over the last few months due to the loss of my dad. We recently moved into a new home and have been remodeling like crazy! Our house is quite full with myself, my boyfriend, our 2 sons, my 2 teenage brothers, my sister, 3 dogs, a ferret, a gecko and a bearded dragon!
I make handmade jewelry in my spare time, which I don't get alot of lately! I like to read, camp, watch movies, play with my kids, boat, swim... oh ya, and play on the computer. My list of interests could go on and on.
On this blog, I call my boyfriend "The Man", well because that's what he is. He's manly in all things like hunting, fishing, boating, gaming and even his work. He's a roofer by trade. We've been together for over 13 years and people always ask us why we're not married. Honestly I don't have a good answer for that, but we're happy and that's all that really matters.
I call my oldest son Big Bro. He's 12 and loves to ride his bike and scooter, snowboard and skateboard. He likes to do tricks on all of those and I have to say he's pretty good. This kid has an amazing personality and a heart of gold.
Lil Man is my youngest son who's 9. He continues to amaze me more and more as the years go by. He is really funny and the craziest things come out of his mouth sometimes. He's definitely a klutz though and has broken his arm twice and sliced the other open so bad that he needed stitches.
Meet Amanda {Assistant Admin, Reviews and Recipes}
My name is Amanda. I'm a 30 year old Homemaker and Stay at Home mom of two beautiful (insane) boys, 13 and 2. I've been married to my high-school obsession for almost 3 years and he still makes me feel like a giddy 15 year old girl. I fancy myself a writer and have been blogging or writing articles for websites for almost 11 years. I was a single career Mom turned married home Mom so I've had the best of both worlds. Currently I spend most of my time singing Sesame Street for my 2 year old.
I started baking when I was 11 and cooking scratch at 12. I come from a line of women that took great pride in the ability to cook from scratch and woe to the woman who used boxed mashed potatoes! I love playing in my kitchen. I love the feel of a smooth aged wooden rolling pin and the burn in my wrist after whisking. I love the smell of the sun on ripe fruits plucked from the farmers market and the first taste, the very first taste of a meal cooked with love that I can take pride in. In my family my great, great Grandmother's one handled rolling pin was revered as the symbol of the woman chosen out of her sisters to be the best cook. I was blessed to be given it on Christmas of 2006 passed down from my Mother and her Mother and so on. I'm very excited and honored to have been picked amongst the other fine writers to share reviews and a weekly recipe with you!
Meet Jilleen {Reviews and Crafts}
I am Jill from western NY. I absolutely love crafts and have been crafting since I was 8 years old. I am an accountant by day and use the other side of my brain at night! I love to make cards and scrapbooks, create paper projects, knitting, cross-stitching and reading. I wish I had more time to "play" with my projects, but real life comes first. My crafting blog is www.peaceandscrapbooking.blogspot.com and my book review blog is www.seasidebooknook.blogspot.com. I would love for you to become a follower and leave me comments. I love sharing with others all the things I stumble across! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years. I have three children, one son and twin daughters.
Meet Latricia {Reviews}
Hi everyone, my name is Latricia. I am a stay at home mom of four, ages 9-17, 1 boy and 3 girls. I spend my days babysitting my 18 month nephew, takings lots of pictures, trying new recipes and writing over at 1Stop Mom. What began as an outlet to just get my thoughts out has turned into so much more. I write about our lives and anything that catches my attention. I am all about doing things to make life easier and anything related to bacon.
Two years ago, I took my first trip out of Wisconsin and discovered I love to travel. Now I want to visit everywhere! Everyday I am learning how to step out of my box and it has been quite a journey :) I have been with my amazingly supportive husband for 20 years, we recently celebrated our 15th anniversary in June.
I am extremely happy to be a part of the Outnumbered 3-1 family and look forward to share my thoughts here.
Meet Corrie {Craft Tutorials and Reviews}
I am a wife to a caring and supportive husband and mother of an amazing 11 year old son and beautiful 10 year old daughter. My passions are family, friends, good books, great food, blogging, music and blog giveaways (they're kind of a problem!). I'm a coffee fiend and internet junkie. I believe in being true to oneself and the golden rule.
For the last 5 years I have been learning to parent from the wheelchair MS has put me in. I face the same challenges as every other parent, I just overcome them in different ways.
We live in a very rural part of southeastern Illinois. I am a simple, small town girl living a simple, small town life. I will be writing craft how-to's and product reviews and super excited to join the Outnumbered 3 to 1 team. I can't wait to meet all ya'all.
Meet Becki {Recipes and Reviews}
I'm Becki, a 26 year old wife of three plus years and mother to one adorable Sonshine. I'm a SAHM in North Carolina. My days are full of playing, learning, and tears; all to be expected when you're full blown into the "terrible two" stage of life! We just bought our first house and we're shakily feeling our way out as new home owners. It's a slight fixer-upper but slowly, it's starting to feel like home!
When I get a spare moment, I like to read, write, experiment with hair, makeup, cook, and bake! Sonshine is the world's pickiest eater, so I try very hard to find recipes we'll enjoy together as a family. My mood can be made or broken if he doesn't eat my cooking! (He always eats my baking though, such a sweet tooth!) I hope that y'all enjoy my recipes!
Meet Christine {Fitness Friday and Reviews}
I am Wife to one and Mommy to five (one pre-teen daughter and four rambunctious sons). When not taxing my children to their various activities, I volunteer on the local soccer board. I also love to run, read, bake, crochet, sing and so much more. I don’t quite love laundry, scrubbing toilets and doing dishes. (But I do try to keep up with them on occasion :) )
Meet Anne {Baby Reviews, Life with a Newborn}
Anne Younger is a wife, mother of 4 ranging in age from infant to 13 and blogger from Green Bay Wisconsin. You can find Anne blogging about her family and daily life, not to mention product reviews and giveaways at The Megalomaniac Mommy. In addition to her personal blog, Anne and her husband also run the recently launched Family Friendly Green Bay website.
Anne was a single mom from 1999 to her two oldest children Zman (13) and Drama Queen (11) until she met her future husband Alex (who also happens to be almost 7 years younger than Anne) in March of 2006, they were engaged 5 months later in August and were married the following October 2007. Together Alex & Anne have 2 children, Tatertot (4) and Baby Bean who joined the family in December 2011.
When Anne isn’t changing diapers, attending soccer or baseball games, driving the kids to and fro she enjoys crafting with the kids, reading, writing, tweeting, and socializing via the internet. In 2011 Anne completed a long term goal of being a college graduate and received her Associate Degree in Information Technology and Web Design.
The house is hardly ever clean, the dishes are rarely done, the laundry is always piled high but it’s guaranteed that everyone in the house is having fun living and loving life every day!
Meet Kristen {DIY Trash to Treasures, Crafts and Reviews}
I'm Kristen, 29, from Alexandria, Virginia. I am a full-time Kindergarten teacher, wife to George (an architect and furniture maker) and mother to our beautiful almost 3 year old daughter, Simone. I am constantly finding there are not enough hours in the day! In whatever spare time I have, I enjoy taking ballet classes and reading for a few minutes to myself. I really don't like cooking, so I am an avid crock-pot cook and I am constantly looking for the next easiest recipe to try. I love to do arts and craft projects with Simone, but am not terribly artistic (just ask my students!). I love letting her be creative and exploring new materials. We are a pretty eco-friendly family and enjoy reusing materials to turn them into little treasures.
Meet Kelly {DIY Trash to Treasure, Recipes and Reviews}
Hello! My name is Kelly Hutchinson, I am 48 and I have lived in Knoxville, TN for almost 10 years with my husband, two children and 2 cats. My husband and I met while working at the same restaurant in Atlanta and have been married for 14 years. We have two great children; our daughter Caitlin is 13 and our son Henry is 10. We have two cool looking cats who are sisters. Hazel is black with a little white and her sister Meep is white with a little black. I also have a wonderful 24 year old daughter Chelsea, a graphic designer who lives in Atlanta. Chelsea was the first woman in our family to graduate from college and I became the second when I graduated from nursing school last May. My sweet son Henry has Asperger’s Syndrome which is a form of autism. When you have a child with special needs, over time you become an advocate for them and work towards educating others about the disorder.
Due to our disappointment in the education our son was receiving in public school, we decided to put my new career in nursing on hold in order to home school our son. My daughter the social butterfly thrives in public school so we decided to allow her to stay in public school. I love to find treasures in yard sales, flea markets and thrift stores and repurpose them. I also love to cook and am always scouring the web for new recipes to try out on my family! I love to read a good mystery, listening to 80’s music and sew clothing as well as home décor items. I love watching reality television shows like Top Chef, the Amazing Race and Survivor.

What a beautiful family you have!
I am totally new to blogging and I have really enjoyed looking around your site and meeting you and your family. Thank you for sharing!
My 4th child is a girl and I can't tell you how many times she's been hurt. She had a thing with smashing her fingers ALL the time. At 2 she got them stuck in an elevator door (gone went the fingernail). She actually bit her own finger eating french fries. Yep she was 2 and no the nail didn't come off but it did turn black....I laugh as I type this on all the silly things she has done to herself...Good thing though, she has seemed to grow out of it. She's almost 10 and hasn't lost a nail in a while

The Original Baby Ankees® "Keeps the feet-ees in the sleep-ees"
Just stopping by to introduce myself. "Hello!"
Although I don't do the icky lizard pet thing, I see we have a lot in common. I think it's great that you are only getting married when you really want to. Marriage is so special, but not necessary for everyone.
