April Wisconsin Dells Trip

Ok, so I told you all we were going to the Dells on Sunday. We decided to take the Non Hubby's nephew with us and it was his first time to a waterpark. We stayed at the Wilderness which has 3 different indoor waterparks and some outdoor ones too... but of course it is still too cold for those in Wisconsin! They also have an arcade and a foam ball jungle gym area with blaster guns where you can shoot the balls all around.

The first picture is this huge bucket of water that fills up and then dumps tons of water on you. A bell rings like 30 seconds before it dumps so all of the kids can get ready and run under it to get soaked. It's really ALOT of fun! The next picture is the 3 kids right under where all the water comes down. They are the 3 in front.

This is my little Dare Devil pretending he's in the shower. What a goof ball! That's his cousin on the stairs.

Here's my little Trixter coming down one of the kiddie slides!

Here's a pic of the kids at the dinner table. We went to Monk's. They have some awesome food! The kids' food comes on a frisbee that they get to keep so they all thought that was really cool.

Here's the 4 of them coming down the Hurricane. This ride is awesome! It's a total thrill. Our kids loved it, but the nephew was pretty scared.

I just love this pic. They had the pj's on, but we were going for a walk to see one of the waterparks that was closed the first day, so we could show the kids what it looked like so they could look foward to the next day. So anyway, they threw their jeans on, but kept their beaters on. I thought they looked so cute, so I just had to take a pic :) My little Dare Devil is such a goof when it comes to pictures though. He's always gotta pose and look silly. Trixter's looking at him like 'Man, get off me'!

This is a view of one of the waterparks from the balcony we were sitting on. The second pic is a small wave pool to the left and the big slides are in back.

I really didn't get a whole lot of pictures. We were going on alot of the rides too, having fun ourselves so carrying the camera around really wasn't an option. It was a blast though and I cannot wait to go back again! Although I do have to say, my body is STILL sore as hell!

I'm so excited!

This afternoon the Non Hubby started checking out waterparks in Wisconsin Dells on his pc. I asked what he was doing and he said he was just checking them out because he was thinking about taking the kids tomorrow. So of course I jumped in and started my own search for the right price on my pc. Man, did I find a hell of a deal at the Wilderness... so... we leave in the morning! YAY! I'm so excited. The kids are even more excited...... and we're taking the Non Hubby's nephew with us too, so all 3 of them have been talking about it and how excited they are ALL day! This will also be his very first trip to a waterpark too, so that's even a little more exciting to him I'm sure!

If you have no clue what Wisconsin Dells is, I'll fill you in a little. It's a resort city in about the middle of Wisconsin that has tons and tons of hotels, attractions, resorts, lake attractions, waterpark hotels, theme parks and some of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. There is so much stuff to do, one could never get bored. Don't worry, I will take LOTS of pics and share them with you all!

About Us

Outnumbered 3 to 1 was started by Melissa in 2009. In January of 2011 a team of writers joined her to share reviews, recipes, crafts, deals and fitness. All of the writers are different in many ways, so each of us offers a fresh new look at things. Check out our PR Page for more information about reviews or to contact us.

Meet Melissa {Owner/Admin, Reviewer, Weekly Memes and Random Things in Life}

I'm Melissa. I live in southeastern Wisconsin. My family is no longer "traditional" in the sense. Our household has grown over the last few months due to the loss of my dad. We recently moved into a new home and have been remodeling like crazy! Our house is quite full with myself, my boyfriend, our 2 sons, my 2 teenage brothers, my sister, 3 dogs, a ferret, a gecko and a bearded dragon!

I make handmade jewelry in my spare time, which I don't get alot of lately! I like to read, camp, watch movies, play with my kids, boat, swim... oh ya, and play on the computer. My list of interests could go on and on.

On this blog, I call my boyfriend "The Man", well because that's what he is. He's manly in all things like hunting, fishing, boating, gaming and even his work. He's a roofer by trade. We've been together for over 13 years and people always ask us why we're not married. Honestly I don't have a good answer for that, but we're happy and that's all that really matters.

I call my oldest son Big Bro. He's 12 and loves to ride his bike and scooter, snowboard and skateboard. He likes to do tricks on all of those and I have to say he's pretty good. This kid has an amazing personality and a heart of gold.

Lil Man is my youngest son who's 9. He continues to amaze me more and more as the years go by. He is really funny and the craziest things come out of his mouth sometimes. He's definitely a klutz though and has broken his arm twice and sliced the other open so bad that he needed stitches.

Meet Amanda {Assistant Admin, Reviews and Recipes}

My name is Amanda. I'm a 30 year old Homemaker and Stay at Home mom of two beautiful (insane) boys, 13 and 2. I've been married to my high-school obsession for almost 3 years and he still makes me feel like a giddy 15 year old girl. I fancy myself a writer and have been blogging or writing articles for websites for almost 11 years. I was a single career Mom turned married home Mom so I've had the best of both worlds. Currently I spend most of my time singing Sesame Street for my 2 year old.

I started baking when I was 11 and cooking scratch at 12. I come from a line of women that took great pride in the ability to cook from scratch and woe to the woman who used boxed mashed potatoes! I love playing in my kitchen. I love the feel of a smooth aged wooden rolling pin and the burn in my wrist after whisking. I love the smell of the sun on ripe fruits plucked from the farmers market and the first taste, the very first taste of a meal cooked with love that I can take pride in. In my family my great, great Grandmother's one handled rolling pin was revered as the symbol of the woman chosen out of her sisters to be the best cook. I was blessed to be given it on Christmas of 2006 passed down from my Mother and her Mother and so on. I'm very excited and honored to have been picked amongst the other fine writers to share reviews and a weekly recipe with you!

Meet Jilleen {Reviews and Crafts}

I am Jill from western NY. I absolutely love crafts and have been crafting since I was 8 years old. I am an accountant by day and use the other side of my brain at night! I love to make cards and scrapbooks, create paper projects, knitting, cross-stitching and reading. I wish I had more time to "play" with my projects, but real life comes first. My crafting blog is www.peaceandscrapbooking.blogspot.com and my book review blog is www.seasidebooknook.blogspot.com. I would love for you to become a follower and leave me comments. I love sharing with others all the things I stumble across! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years. I have three children, one son and twin daughters.

Meet Latricia {Reviews}

 Hi everyone, my name is Latricia. I am a stay at home mom of four, ages 9-17, 1 boy and 3 girls. I spend my days babysitting my 18 month nephew, takings lots of pictures, trying new recipes and writing over at 1Stop Mom. What began as an outlet  to just get my thoughts out has turned into so much more. I write about our lives and anything that catches my attention. I am all about doing things to make life easier and anything related to bacon.

Two years ago, I took my first trip out of Wisconsin and discovered I love to travel. Now I want to visit everywhere! Everyday I am learning how to step out of my box and it has been quite a journey :) I have been with my amazingly supportive husband for 20 years, we recently celebrated our 15th anniversary in June.
I am extremely happy to be a part of the Outnumbered 3-1 family and look forward to share my thoughts here.

Meet Corrie {Craft Tutorials and Reviews}

 I am a wife to a caring and supportive husband and mother of an amazing 11 year old son and beautiful 10 year old daughter. My passions are family, friends, good books, great food, blogging, music and blog giveaways (they're kind of a problem!). I'm a coffee fiend and internet junkie. I believe in being true to oneself and the golden rule.

For the last 5 years I have been learning to parent from the wheelchair MS has put me in. I face the same challenges as every other parent, I just overcome them in different ways.

We live in a very rural part of southeastern Illinois. I am a simple, small town girl living a simple, small town life. I will be writing craft how-to's and product reviews and super excited to join the Outnumbered 3 to 1 team. I can't wait to meet all ya'all.

Meet Becki {Recipes and Reviews}

I'm Becki, a 26 year old wife to my wonderful Hubbers of 3 years and mom to one adorable Sonshine. I grew up in NC but currently reside in Upstate New York, but we are in the process of buying our first house in North Carolina! I've been a stay at home mom to Sonshine for almost two years now and I love every single minute of it! We're currently entering into the "terrible two" stage and I'm not sure if we're going to all emerge from it unscathed, but I'm trying to hardest! We spend most of our time playing, singing, learning and enjoying a local mom & kids group to pass our time!

In my spare time (aha, I said it) I like to read, write (I'm currently working on a novel) and cook! Unfortunately, I gave birth to the world's pickiest eater! So, I take my recipe finding and making very seriously. My mood depends on whether or not Sonshine will eat my cooking! I look forward to sharing yummy and healthy recipes with all the Outnumbered 3 to 1 readers!

Meet Christine {Reviews and Fitness Friday}

I am Wife to one and Mommy to five (one pre-teen daughter and four rambunctious sons). When not taxing my children to their various activities, I volunteer on the local soccer board. I also love to run, read, bake, crochet, sing and so much more. I don’t quite love laundry, scrubbing toilets and doing dishes. (But I do try to keep up with them on occasion :) )

Aloha Friday

For more Aloha Friday, visit An Island Life.

My question this week is
What are you looking foward to this weekend?
It's suppoesed to be 71 degrees here tomorrow, which is the warmest we'll get so far! I plan on getting some people together and having a good ole cookout and maybe a bonfire and a few beers. Sounds fun to me!

This is one of my absolute favorite pics of all 3 of my guys at the lake.This picture was taken at the yacht club right before we were going on the b/f's cousin's boat to watch fireworks. This was the kids' first boat trip and it was a blast. I love our special family times together and I love these guys so much. They are my world, and I can't imagine life without them.

Blog Launch

I'm sure you've noticed the changes I've made to this blog today. I found this new awesome layout at www.thecutestblogontheblock.com, and although it's not custom (which I just cannot afford right now) it works for the time being. I was trying to get some pictures in the header, but I just couldn't figure out how to after over an hour of trying. I suck at this tech stuff, hehe.

I'm in the process of doing a whole makeover for my Blog Warming or Blog Launch Party. I'm just not sure exactly what to call it or when it's going to be yet.. sometime next month for sure. I'm working on securing lots of reviews and giveaways for the event. In fact, I already have one REALLY exciting one, but I will NOT spoil the surprise.. Hehehe!

I also need to make a button for the event, so if you can help or know someone that can, please please do!

I am also really sick of calling my family by the first letters of their names and I'm trying to come up with some nicknames for them. I know, it shouldn't be that hard, but it really is. We just don't call eachother by nicknames, weird huh.

I would love to hear any and all suggestions for this event so leave comments, email whatever!

Camera Critters

Camera Critters 1st Anniversary

I found this fun meme by visiting Eighty MPH Mom. You can stop by Camera Critters blog to check out more or to grab a badge and post your own.

This may not count as a critter to some, but I had to pick this picture because of all the responses from my Aloha Friday post on my other blog. So many people said Spiders, so here's one for you. This was found on one of the tents during a camping trip! Yikes, that thing was huge and gross!
