I tried out MyClyns and it seems like a great product to have around "just in case". You never know when you will be exposed to something harmful and this handy little spray can be carried right in your purse. It's not much bigger than a lipstick tube. It can be used anywhere on the skin and can be used on the face, eyes, mouth, nose, ears and in open wounds. MyClyns contains Microcyn which has been proven to be non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing on mucous and non-mucous membranes. This is a great little tool to have with this nasty flu that's going around.
Buy It! MyClyns, is sold at CVS stores nationwide along with other chain stores for suggested retail price of $9.99 (early November). Starting in early November consumers will be able to get more information about the product at the newly redesigned Web site www.mygermspray.com where there will be a “store locator” to see where the product is being sold in their area.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that you take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link at An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Since it's Halloween weekend, I have a couple of questions. This week's questions are:
If you celebrate Halloween
What are your kids dressing up as?
Are you dressing up? As what?
Lil Man will be Spiderman and Big Bro just decided tonight to dress up. He wasn't going to before, but I just knew he'd some around! Funny how mom's know and plan for those things isn't it? {Giggle}
The boyfriend and I have his siter's house warming costume party tonight, and Saturday we have a masquerade wedding to go to. We will probably dress up as vampires.
It's another month and I have more Sam's Club Advantage Plus memberships to give away! In this Live Giveaway all you have to do to enter is simply tweet this giveaway using the following tweet "Live Giveaway @OutnumberedMama Win a Sam's Club Advantage Plus Membership http://tinyurl.com/owm65n #SamsClub" and leave a comment with the link to the "tweet" and tell me one thing you like to buy in bulk. You can comment as much as you'd like after that, saying whatever you want, as long as it's a sentence. You may not comment twice in a row. There must be at least one comment from someone else between each of your comments. The last Live Giveaway I did lasted way too long, so I'll make this one a little bit easier. Comment # 450 will win.
You can enter to win a Sam's Club Advantage Plus Membership here too, until October 31st. One random email subscriber will also be winning a membership, so make sure you sign up to get my updates by email for your chance to win.
Please note that if you have already won a Sam's Club Advantage Plus Membership from this blog, you will not be eligible to win again.
You may have heard about Tyson's new Heat 'N Eat Entrees. They come in family size servings and are available in many different combinations like Beef Steak Tips in Bourbon Sauce and Chicken Breast Medallions in White Wine & Garlic Sauce. They're available right in lunch meat area at the grocers, so it's never frozen. That is a huge bonus for me, I'm not big on frozen meat from the grocery store. I know it probably seems silly, but it just doesn't sit well with me. However, I will package my fresh meats and freeze them at home. Is that weird?
I like beef, so the beef steak was the one I tried first. I simply served it with roasted potatoes and green beans. It made a complete meal, surely enough to feed us all. The flavor of the meat was delicious and it was very tender. You seriously could not tell that I did not slave over that meal all day! Now that is a huge plus in my book! Something quick and easy that my family will eat, awesome!
I found a great recipe on the website that I'm going to try with the Chicken Breast Medallions in White Wine & Garlic Sauce. I'll share it with you here.

Win It! Three lucky Outnumbered 3 to 1 readers will win a coupon to try a Heat 'N Eat Entree from Tyson.

For your first MAIN entry: Tell me which Heat 'N Eat Entree you want to try. This step must be done before you can qualify for extra entries.
This giveaway is open to residents of the US until November 11th at 11:59 pm.

Remember my Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs review from yesterday? Well In celebration of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs coming out on Blu/ DVD yesterday, 20th Century Fox broke the Guinness World Record for the tallest Ice Sculpture!! (4 stories high...48’8”!) is that amazing or what?! I would have loved to have seen that in person!
The boyfriend and I were sitting in our bedroom the other day and Lil Man said "Dad, did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?" Dad said "Nope, not too bad".
The Lil Man said
"Are you from Tennessee?"
Pause
"Cuz you're the only ten I see."
Ok, I get it now. My kid learned a couple pick up lines.
We laughed our asses off so hard because he totally did not even know what he was talking about, especially the fact that he should be saying these things to girls, not his dad!
I said "Where's you learn that? Your uncles?" Assuming he heard my brothers saying this stuff.
"Nope, Suite Life"
Hey Zach and Cody, thanks for teaching my son some pick up lines!
Now if I were not me, and I had no sense of humor at all to find that funny.. I might just be a little upset about the fact that TV is corrupting my children.
But see, I'm normal, and I don't blame everything on someone else, so I guess it's my fault for letting them watch it. I watch it too, it's a good show.
I love a good ghost story. They're fun to tell while you're sitting around a campfire, which we do a lot of in the summer time. the only problem I have, is I really suck at telling them! Maybe it's because I've never had an encounter of my own? Although I must admit, I do get the chills quite often and I refuse to go into my basement alone when it's dark outside. I just sense something really weird down there. It might have to do with the creepy canning room in the back. Someone busted out parts of the door.... but not from the outside. So for whatever reason it may be, someone was trapped in that room at one point in time. It could have been all in fun or a prank, but who knows. Maybe it was something evil, like I sense.
Anyway, we're not here to talk about my creepy basement. I want to share this book,Encyclopedia of Haunted Places: Ghostly Locales from Around the World with you. Now this is my kind of book. I will be taking this camping with us every year for the rest of my life. Now I have real stories to tell, that will scare the pants off of someone! How fun! There are even two stories from a town where we go camping in Wisconsin. I bet those would scare the daylights out of someone!
Here is an excerpt from the introduction of the book:
Welcome to the second edition of Encyclopedia of Haunted Places! Let me begin with a warning: This directory is not complete. Nor will it ever be, nomatter how many expanded editions we create in the future. But it's a start. I recognize I'm partial, but I'd even go so far as to call it a great start. Though we have listed hundreds of haunts in this new edition, there are tens of thousands more still out there. Exploring the paranormal is a journey, not a destination.
Ghosts are everywhere. Every town has its haunted buildings, houses and cemeteries. Locals whisper about these places and schoolchildren hurry past when walking by. Ghost legends are powerful- they're one of the few events today that still survive mainly by oral tradition. The tales of ghost encounters are retold, and soon certain locations get a "haunted" reputation. But those stories started somewhere. There is a basis in fact behind every legend. And in many locations, people still experience the unexplained-they may tell one or two others about their experiences, and soon word of these encounters spreads and adds fuel to the supernatural fire that burns a haunted location into the collective memory of a region's folklore and its history-almost as if the ghosts and spirits demand to be remembered and acknowledged.
Here's the scoop on how to enter my giveaways and get extra entries. Please leave a separate comment for each extra entry, otherwise it will just be counted as one. Your loss.
For your first MAIN entry: Head to Jeff Belanger's website and tell me something you found out.. This step must be done before you can qualify for extra entries.
This giveaway is open to residents of the US until November 11th at 11:59 pm.

I have had part of this post done since they both awarded me 2 weeks ago and I just kept forgetting or didn't have time to post it. So, I am only handing this out to a couple people.
To my dear friend Speedy from Eighty MPH Mom because she makes me laugh all day and she rocks!
Christine or "Mama Hen" from Live Laugh Love and Bloggings is such a strong woman who has been through so much. She deserves this award big time for being what we should all try to be. Even if things are going bad for her one day, she is still there supporting others.
Since I'm getting married next year, the wedding is in my thoughts all the time. Honeymoon destinations and hotels are on my mind like crazy. We really don't know where we'll go yet. We have talked about going to Florida for years but have never actually made it there. Since we are definitely going to be on a budget, Florida might just be a possibility for our honeymoon. Always one step ahead and planning, I've found a couple of best value hotels in Miami that interest me.
The Albion has a decent rate, 3 1/2 stars and comfortable beds. That little fact about the comfortable beds is a great seller for me. I have not traveled much so I am sure I'll be sight seeing like there's no tomorrow. I'll need a good night's rest for sure! It's also just 2 blocks from the beach and steps from a mall. We won't have to travel very far to have some fun.
Trump International Beach Resort is a little bit pricier, but looks amazing. There's a balcony view of two beautiful pools and the beach. Back to that comfort aspect, the beds look super comfy! They even offer a children's program in case we decide to take the kids. A long shot, but you just never know! There are limited dining and nightlife options though, so I'm not sure about this place if we don't bring the kids.
So I've talked up Miami like there's no tomorrow, but Vegas might be a fun option too, without the kids of course! I have always wanted to go see all the lights and action. We would definitely have to see a show while we're there too. As far as lodging goes, The Golden Nugget is priced right and looks like a blast. They've got a clover shaped whirlpool, a slide and an aquarium!
It's time once again for Contest Tuesday. Don't forget to check back every Tuesday for a fresh linky so you can get in on some great giveaways or to link your own. Feel free to link up as many giveaways as you want.
Also, it's not required, but it would be great if you could help spread the word about this link by posting my button, tweeting, etc.
Don't forget to let me know if you have a contest linky too. Tell me the day you host it or if it's ongoing, as well as the url or button code and I will post your button or link in this listing of places to list your contests. There's quite a list compiled already, you might want to check it out. You can also show some bloggy love and let my readers and I know of any other places to list your contests.
I have quite a few giveaways you won't want to miss out on and the Birthday Bash Giveaways are still going on. Make sure to stop by Wednesday at 8 pm Central time for a Live Giveaway in which I'll be handing out a Sam's Club Advantage Plus Membership {$100 Value} to one lucky commenter!
Tinker Bell has been a popular character since I was a child. We all just loved her! I am so excited to share her new movie with you, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. This movie will be hitting stores tomorrow and I tell you it is a must see!
On October 27th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment releases TINKER BELL and the LOST TREASURE on Blu-ray & DVD! It’s harvest time, and Tink is honored with the task of creating the Pixie Hollow fall scepter. After small accident on the precocious pixie’s part, Tinker Bell must set things right in Pixie Hollow by venturing far oversea on a quest! Bonus material includes deleted scenes and a behind-the-scenes look at how the filmmakers transformed Florida’s Epcot Center into Pixie Hollow!
Tinker Bell has come a long way since her first incarnations by the Disney artists. Check out these preliminary sketches and concept art to see her evolution! From a wide range of looks and ideas, she became the precocious pixie pal of Peter Pan. Last year, in her first feature film, Miss Bell was re-introduced to audiences with a polished familiar look. And now, just in time for her journey out of Pixie Hollow, Tink’s got a brand new costume for her autumnal adventure!
That is quite the difference isn't it! Tinker Bell sure has come a very long way through out the years! I think she is just the cutest fairy ever though and I really enjoyed Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. It's a story about friendship, love and never giving up; something so many of us need to remember these days if you ask me. Tinker Bell's adventure was fun and scary all at the same time and she met a great new friend {and found an old one} along the way. Her story made you fall in love with this sweet yet stubborn character from Pixie Hollow all over again. For me, it brought just a little part of my childhood back.

I am such a sucker for kids movies. So is the boyfriend. We will honestly sit down and watch a kids movie when the kids aren't even around! So we were pretty excited when we had the chance to see Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs before it even came out. I'm not sure who was more excited for the release, us or the kids! Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaur will be hitting streets tomorrow October 27th and will be available on DVD and Blue Ray. Here's a little information about the movie.
Get ready, for the dawn of a new age! Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie are back for more pre-hysterical hijinks when Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs stomps onto Three-Disc Blu-ray Disc/DVD Combo Pack October 27 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The third film in the outrageously popular Ice Age franchise, the sub-zero heroes return another wild and fun adventure. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while maybe finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth; Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals and Sid the sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by hijacking some dinosaur eggs. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, run amuck, and meet a relentless, one-eyed dino-hunting weasel named Buck. The coolest animated comedy of the year, Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs features hilarious performances from Ice Age veterans Ray Romano (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), John Leguizamo (The Happening), Denis Leary (“Rescue Me”), Queen Latifah (The Secret Life of Bees), Seann William Scott (Planet 51) and Josh Peck (“Drake & Josh”), along with newcomers Bill Hader (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Kristen Wiig (“Saturday Night Live”), Jane Lynch (“Glee") and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead).
The Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs Three-Disc release includes the BD, DVD and Digital Copy and provides hours of extra fun for the entire family including an Ice Age digital story book maker, commentary by director Carlos Saldanha, deleted scenes, making-of featurettes, two special Scrat shorts, a how-to-draw Scrat tutorial with the filmmakers and much more. The Three-Disc BD/DVD Combo Pack will be available for a suggested retail price of $39.99 U.S./$49.99 Canada. Additionally, the Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs standard DVD will be available for $29.98 U.S./$43.48 Canada.
The Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs “Scrat Pack” Double DVD Pack, a great value for moms and fun for kids, will also be available for a limited time only featuring an overload of special features focusing on the determined squirrel including three “Scrat” games exclusive to the disc. The “Scrat Pack” will be available for a suggested retail price of $34.98 U.S./$45.98 Canada.
It was raining the day this movie arrived, so I just knew the kids would be thrilled to have a new movie to watch. I let them go watch it right away and the enjoyed it. Lil Man liked it so much that he watched it again, right away!
I was a big fan of the first and second Ice Age movies, so my plan was to pop in in the DVD player when I was ready for bed. I tried my hardest to finish it that night, but my eyes would just not cooperate with me so I had to attempt finishing it the second night. That plan didn't go so well either! Finally, the third night I was able to finish the whole movie without passing out from exhaustion. {Not from the movie of course, because it rocked!} I have to say without a doubt that Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs is my favorite Ice Age movie yet! My favorite parts are the ones with Sid's "kids". It's hilarious when they get hungry. You'll just have to watch and see what I mean!
I have some more fun facts for you!

I've worn eyeglasses since I was 9 years old. I have kind of stuck with the same style throughout the years since I was a teenager. In recent years I started to like the black square frame look, but never went out and grabbed a pair. Until now!
I checked out a lot of prescription glasses from GlassesUSA. The Gio Black are the ones that I kept going back to. I just really, really liked them. I think what made me go with these instead of others that were similar, is that they are metal frames. I haven't worn plastic frames {even in sunglasses} since I was pretty young. That's just not my style I guess.
I tried them on the minute they arrived and liked the look right away. I think the square eyeglass frames makes me look sophisticated and smart. They're very comfortable to wear and don't slip. They came with a nice hard case and cleaning cloth. It's the same quality as if I'd bought them from an actual eye doctor's office. But not the same price for sure. The Gio Black glasses are only $37 {including lenses} through GlassesUSA, comparable at $85. That's over half off, a huge savings!
I was given a pair of Gio Black Glasses for the purpose of reviewing. Opinions expressed are my own or my families and are not influenced by any form of compensation. Take it or leave it. Click here to view my full disclosure policy.
Yesterday was my 31st birthday. I didn't make big plans because to me, it was just another day. once I hit 30 last year, it just didn't seem important anymore. Besides, I entered my 30's with a bang last year with a huge party that involved keg stands and everything! Yep, keg stands. Can you still do one?
So last night, my plans weren't big at all. We were going to have dinner. I saw the line {which wrapped around a block and a half} for the fish fry at a local restaurant and thought fish sounded good. I didn't want to sit down for a long time at an actual restaurant and my dear friend Jackie talks about Long John Silvers pretty much weekly. So thanks to her, I got the craving. {Giggle} After dinner, we were gonna go meet my bestest friend J for some drinks. But first we had to drop some chairs off at a friend's house. I won't lie, it irritated me. The boyfriend was rushing me to get ready, even standing at the bathroom door. I'm like, "Get the hell outta here, you're only gonna slow me down by bugging me, not hurry me up!"
So we finally left, I called J on the way since I hadn't talked to her all day. The man told me NOT to call her, that I could after dinner. Well I don't listed to orders of course, so I did call! She said she already had her daughter gone with a babysitter, they were chillin, then they'd be at the bar at around 8:30 or 9.
We walk in our friend's house and he said he's got his neighbor in the basement, so we should come down and drink a beer for my birthday before we leave. I walk down and the lights are off so I asked where the damn switch was. The lights turned on, and what did I find?
A whole room full of my friends!!
A surprise party just for me!
Do my friends rock or what?? I think they do! I can't believe they pulled it off. And I can't believe they conspired about me for 3 weeks since M's birthday party! What evil people! Haha, ya right! I love these guys so much! I have never had a surprise party in my entire life, and mentioned something to N about it one time, so she started the whole thing in motion, got J involved who did a fabulous job contacting everyone and making all the food. They were going to have it at her house even, until she was talking with J and M {the ones who just bought a house a few weeks ago} and said they should do it at their house. They have a fire pit and finished basement in case it was too cold or rainy. Well it did rain all day, but stopped not long before the party.
I felt kind of bad because I was a half hour late!!! But how can it be my fault if I didn't know I had a time line right??
Anyway, it was great. I had a wonderful night. And it made me realize that I really do have the best friends in the world. They rock and I love them like they were my family! Here are a few pictures from last night.
Did you know that by decorating your child´s birthday cake or your co-worker´s retirement cake you are keeping a centuries-old tradition alive? The art of baking and decorating cakes can be traced all the way back to the rein of Rameses, an Egyptian pharaoh, in 1175 B.C., evidenced by a painted panel of cakes and breads found at his ancient court bakery. History has found that small cakes, similar to cheesecake, were served to athletes in the first Olympic Games in 776 BC. It has since been carried on throughout the years with many cultures, such as the ancient Romans, Greeks, and much of Medieval Europe having their own take on cake.
I love to bake. I bake pretty often, especially around the holidays. I pass out cookies tins at Christmas time like it's no joke. It's been a tradition for years. In fact, I used to help my mother bake Christmas cookies while I was growing up.
I have seen Wilton products all over stores I shop in for years. I've always heard they made great, quality products. I'd just never really tried anything before. So when I contacted Wilton to join in the Birthday Bash, I was ecstatic when they said yes. I checked out their site, and just loved the Cupcakes 'N More® 23 Count Standard Dessert Stand. When my package arrived, there was more than just that in it though!
I just finished making and decoration my birthday cupcakes. Yes, you heard right, I made my own. The boyfriend said he's make them if I wanted, that the egg shells might give them extra flavor. Um, no thanks, I'll do it myself then!
The cupcake stand was very easy to assemble. It's in 3 pieces and you put it together with 2 little screws. Simple as that. It's so handy to have too. The cupcakes are easy to grab and it makes them look so much nicer than if you just had them on a single platter. The cupcake decorating kit was very easy to use too. It came with instructions that show how to do some of the different designs. Of course this was my first time, so I didn't get too creative. But I sure plan to! This kit will come in handy for sure!
Since I had kids, shopping for me isn't easy anymore. Let's face it, I simply can't afford to as much so I really love to save a buck. I'm not a big coupon clipper, so it's great to find stores that can save me money without clipping coupons. That's what I like about Marshalls. I can find all sorts of stuff I want or need at prices I can afford.
Marshalls sent me a gift card to shop with for the Birthday Bash so Big Bro and i went on a venture to see what we could find. I was in search of a shirt and he was indecisive about what he wanted {Like always}.
We checked out the shoe section and he found a pair, but wanted to look around still. We looked at candles on the way to the boys section and I almost got lost in all the delicious smells. They have some wonderful candles! He finally dragged me along to the clothes where he picked out a pair of jeans and some sports pajamas.
We got to the checkout line, and he decided he wanted the shoes. Ugghh, really? We were just ready to go! He knows he would have to put the jeans or pajamas back, so he's deciding. We go back, try the shoes on, find the right size and go back to the clothing section {Of course I wasn't going to just leave the stuff lying in an isle, not me!}. He decides to keep the pj's and put the jeans back. Then he decides to put both back, whatever.
We go checkout with his pair of shoes and my shirt. Can you believe we walked out of there spending less than $40?? I sure can't, considering I usually can't walk out of a shoe store without spening less than $50 on just one pair of shoes!
I was given a Marshalls Gift Card for the purpose of shopping and sharing my experience. Opinions expressed are my own or my families and are not influenced by any form of compensation. Take it or leave it. Click here to view my full disclosure policy.
Ok, so I haven't done one of these posts in quite awhile. No one ever wanted to join in and post their own so I said screw it. Well I'm back with new stuff that I just couldn't resist posting. I won't be doing these posts strictly on Sundays anymore. I'll do them whenever I find the need to share the constant hilarious things my kids say.
I overheard a conversation the boys had yesterday. Lil Man likes to just talk for the sake of talking, even if it's to himself. So this is his conversation going on as he's walking through the kitchen.
Lil Man - I'm a handsome boy {in the silliest voice possible}
Big Bro - No, you're ugly {what a mean brother huh!}
Lil Man - No I'm not. I'm a handsome boy, oh so handsome.
