Free Style - Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

Cale Bryant (Bleu) needed someone to believe in him. Ever since he was young, he’s wanted to race motocross professionally; but after a string of bad luck hits his family hard, the would-be champion is forced to put his dreams on hold. All that changes when he meets Alex (Sandra Echeverría, star of Telemundo’s “Marina”), a beautiful girl who gives Cale encouragement, support and an old bike so that he can get back in the game again. Now, with Alex by his side, Cale takes on the challenge of his life: to beat the odds and cross the finish line a winner. Free Style also stars Penelope Ann Miller (Kindergarten Cop) and Madison Pettis (The Game Plan), and features music from star Corbin Bleu and The Jonas Brothers!

From the beginning of the movie, you could tell Cale had something inside of him that many people can search their whole lives to find. A drive, a determination if you will, to make it; to make all of his dreams come true. from the beginning of the movie, I was sucked in, rooting for him even when all of the odds were against him. He had everything it would take to make it big, except sponsorships and money.



Cale became the man of the house at an early age thanks to an absent father and a mother who had to work long shifts just to support the family. He had to work too. In fact he kept 2 jobs while he practiced motocross and helped out at a local ranch in exchange for a fixer upper bike. However, he still found time to read to his little sister.

I really enjoyed this movie. There was action, suspense and romance all wrapped up into one. I loved the racing scenes and rooted for him wondering the whole time if he really would make it. Did he make it? My lips are sealed as it would spoil the whole suspense, sorry!
