Hi everybody! My name is Angie, from Angies Freebies. I LOVE freebies. When I am not hanging out with the hubby and kids, I am looking for free stuff. Did you know that obtaining free samples is a great way to save money? Ok, let's look at it this way... a freebie gives you the opportunity to try before you buy. Wether it be a product you know you want or one think you don't. It can work both ways. Sometimes my freebies will prove how great a product is that I just knew I wanted or point out a great product I have never heard about. On the other hand it can also show me that maybe I don't really like or even need it. Either way I get a chance to see wether it is for me before I hand over my hard earned cash.

Did you know that a lot of the freebies you find online are full size freebies? Just this week I received 2 coupons for a big box of oreos, a coupon for a free pint (16oz) of International Delight Creamer, and a potty training kit from huggies. This week I have also received a lot of samples in the mail. Like prilosec otc, a 6 pack of single serving Nescafe Tasters Choice, Astroglide Lubricant, Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer, a 5 pack of spa samples including a mud mask and 4 different types of moisturizers, Tampax tampons, Kotex pads, 3 different types of diapers, a world peace bumper sticker, and Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner.

Now the first few weeks you start your new finding freebies hobby you won't get any freebies (they can take anywhere from a few days to 8 weeks to arrive) but do not get discouraged. Just when you think they will never come there they are. The great thing is once the first one arrives you will get at least one freebie each day. Most days I get 2 or more!!

I also want to give you a few tips to make finding freebies as stress free as possible. I mean what good is free stuff if it stresses us out??

1. 
   
   Open a free email account to use when requesting your freebies. Some of the companies will send you newsletters or updates. To avoid having your regular email cluttered with spam just grab an extra email address from google, yahoo, aol, or any other free provider.

   Use auto fill from your google toolbar or roboform to quickly fill in requests. You can have more then one profile. Just label one "freebies" and use your freebie email.
3. 
   
   NEVER enter your credit card info. I have been receiving freebies for about 5 yrs. Like I said before I get 2 or more each day and I have never entered my credit card info.
4. 
   
   Find a freebie site you can trust (like Angies Freebies) and let them do all the work for you. This way all you have to do is check in, grab your freebies, and go.

Just remember, finding freebies should be fun. Fo me it is a great stress reliever. It also makes that trip to the mailbox exciting rather then dreadful (thinking of all the bills in there). In todays world were everyone wants a credit card number or down payment, it's nice to know there is a place you can go and leave your wallet behind. So when you are ready for a bit of stress free, money free shopping stop on by. You will be glad you did!!! Have a great day.
