Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

I have driven by Chili's so many times, I cannot even count. Somehow, I have never had the chance to eat there. That's partly due to the fact that we don't eat at "sit down" restaurants very often. It's much easier to go through the drive thru with the kids.

Well this past Saturday The man and I decided we needed a little "us" time before he went out to his friend's bachelor party. We dropped the kids off at his dad's for the night and headed out to Chili's for a relaxing dinner out.

The parking lot was jam packed when we got there and we almost said screw it and left. However we decided to go inside and see what the wait would be. The hostess told us roughly 20 minutes and we figured we'd wait because the food smelled so good. Our buzzer lit up in like 5 minutes, so we were pretty happy! I guess it pays to go out with just 2 in a group!

There were so many delicious sounding meals on the menu, it was really hard to decide what I wanted. I opted for the Steakhouse Sandwich and he chose the Southern Smokehouse Burger. Our meals arrived and I realized I had ordered the wrong thing! I thought the Steakhouse Sandwich was an actual sandwich, on a bun. I guess I should have read further and I would have realized it was a flatbread sandwich. I am really not a big fan of Flatbread, so my sandwich wasn't as good as I would have liked it to be. Their fries are absolutely delicious though! And their margaritas, YUM!

The Man took the top bun off his burger to put ketchup on and the burger was covered in huge pieces of super thick bacon, yum! There was so much he broke one piece in half and made me try it. It was delicious! He thought the burger was great, and huge too! He couldn't even eat the whole thing! It's definitely a very good value for the price and amount of food he got.

I think next time we go, I will try the Mushroom-Swiss Burger. That looked pretty good.

Chili's offers $9.99 Fresh Pairings where you can choose your appetizer and entree. The selection is pretty good and there's a variety to cater to almost any taste buds. You can also place your order to go online! That is definitely convenient.

Chili's is doing a Shout Out to Eat Out promotion. Their "Shout Out to Eat Out" website is still under development, but as soon as it's up you can enter for a chance to win a gift card to Chili's everyday for roughly 3 months! To enter the contest users will have to upload a 10 second to 30 second video telling why they do not want to cook tonight. One winner each day will be selected at random.
