About Journals Unlimited:
I've always kept a personal journal to express my thoughts, excitement, and concerns for the moment and it helps me to plan and set goals for the future. Everyone experiences important events worth remembering. Whatever your age or passion, keeping a journal is a great way to capture and recall your thoughts and ideas, while recording all your precious memories.

With just an idea, the company was started in the summer of 1997. I was on vacation on the west coast of Michigan when I walked up into a Barnes & Noble book store. I wanted to pick up a vacation journal and envisioned finding a series of journals with the prompts such as our journals offer (Where I traveled, Where I stayed, People I met, etc.). There was nothing even close, only a wide variety of blank journals. Almost immediately the idea was born! By the end of the day, I had developed several titles as well as the craft color and cover design.

The "Write it Down" Series at Journals Unlimited has over 50 titles to choose from so you can document everything that happened during your vacations, parties and outings. These journals are so unique and can really help make your memories last a lifetime by documenting them. With so many wonderful titles to choose from, I had a really hard time deciding.

This past year the DNR changed the hunting regulations. I'm not sure if it was just for the state of Wisconsin, or it applies to the entire country. They lowered the hunting age from 12 years old to 10 years old. My oldest son is currently 10 and he will be going hunting with his dad this year. This coming hunting season will technically be his first experience hunting.

When I saw Hunting - A Hunter's Journal I knew that this was the one I had to get. What better way to celebrate this new journey in life than by documenting every hunting experience starting with the very first one. He will be able to record every single hunting trip he goes on in his entire life. This is something he will be able to treasure forever, and even pass onto his son if he wants.

The journal open's up and this is what is written on the very first page:

Life is an adventure

It's not the destination we reach that's most rewarding.
It's the journey along the way.

So Write It Down! & treasure

the memory forever...

The page above is what each and every page in the journal looks like. it has areas to record what you're hunting for as well as the date, time, location, season and weather. you can write down who you hunted with, weapons and ammo used, preparations, scents/calls used, activity in area, sightings and game/harvest. The entire back page is lined for notes so can can share everything!

I really love his little hunting journal and I'm sure he will love writing down all of his wonderful hunting experiences. In fact, I plan to buy another in 2 years when my youngest son is able to hunt. Then they can both document everything and maybe they'll share stories and notes.

Journals Unlimited carries so many different titles that I'm sure there's something for everyone. I would like to get Gardening - The Gardener's Journal and Camping - The Camper's Journal for myself.

I love these. Every person in our family could put one to use. My daughter even hunts with me during rifle season. We keep our own pictures and such, but not much journaling to go with it.
Love it!
