Leap into Spring - Skin MD Natural + SPF15 Lotion Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

Thanks for joining us for the Leap into Spring event! Jennifer and I have some great stuff in store to help you get ready for Spring! Make sure to stop by both blogs each day because new stuff will be added daily!

Today at Eighty MPH Mom:

Skin MD and GourmetGiftBaskets.com

From the website:

A shielding lotion is far more effective as a dry skin care treatment than mere moisturizing lotions or protective creams.

If you suffer from dry skin, you know that just using a moisturizing lotion does not solve the problem.

This is an entirely new concept in skin care requiring a new classification: "Shielding Lotion". Skin MD Natural keeps moisture-robbing irritants away while proprietary "super" humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day.

Skin MD Natural is promptly absorbed without the slightest hint of any greasy or oily feeling or residue, transforming the outer layer of skin into a hydrating invisible shield.

I suffer from extremely dry skin, so I am literally applying lotion several times a day. It's a daily routine that my poor skin cannot live without. Since I have already had the opportunity to try Skin MD Natural, I knew what I was getting myself into. I was excited to try it again since I have been out for quite some time.

What I like about Skin MD Natural + SPF15 is that it doesn't have much of a fragrance, so I can wear it whenever. I don't have to worry about my lotion and perfume working against each other to create a strange odor. It goes on great too and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I am an animal lover, so it really stands out to me that Skin MD natural does not test their products on animals. That makes me feel just that much better about using their products! Who knows, my dogs might secretly be thanking me for it!

Buy It!

You can buy Skin MD Natural + SPF15 for $25 Each. You can also buy it by the case, gallon or samples.

The Giveaway!

How would you like to win a bottle of Skin MD Natural + SPF15? I have one to give away to one lucky contestant! For your first main entry head over to Skin MD Natural and tell me something that you learned. This step must be done before you can qualify for extra entries.

A conventional lotion is not formulated to protect the skin like a shielding lotion does. Conventional lotions only add surface moisture to temporarily alleviate the dryness or itching. Shielding lotions are an effective dry skin treatment because they bond with the skin and protect it for long periods of time.

I was impressed that they gave the ingredient listing and then EXPLAINED how they work against UV rays. I was interested in finding out about the leeching IN of product or toxins until I read this: (direct quote from doc)

Shielding Lotions are a new type of skin care product based on years of research into how skin heals. They form a protective shield with the outer layer of skin and help keep out irritants.

I am less worried that harmful toxins can leech into our skin...so many sunscreens have been found to actually be BAD, as the skin soaks IN the load of sometimes not so safe ingredients of other brands.

thanks!

I learned that despite its shielding effect Skin MD Natural™ does not prevent the skin from breathing, in fact it improves it because it helps keep the skin pores from being clogged with outside irritants that are often too complex to be eliminated naturally. Thanks.
