About Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio:
All products distributed by Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio? are designed and formulated by owner and practicing pharmacist, Julie Hilton, who has over 30 years experience in compounding and natural skin care. ?I started the Studio in 2000 when my husband and I moved to the Blue Ridge of Virginia. Our friends were calling us ?gypsies,? so the name evolved naturally.?
Naturally occurring vegetable oils and butters contain indigenous nutrients, antioxidants, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), and antibacterial agents that petroleum-based oils just don?t have. Natural oils absorb into the skin and do not feel greasy. They also come from replenishable sources, which is a great environmental concern.

I recently had the chance to try a few different lotions from Blue Ridge Gypsy and I was so excited to be able to dab in some different scents! I know many places offer different lotions scents, but I have yet to see combined scents in lotion like Mandarin Vanilla or Grapefruit Geranium. I think that is quite unique and a great thing to offer as many of us are drawn to a variety of scents. Of course there are your every day scents like Truest Rose as well.
My favorite out of the ones I tries is the Mandarin Vanilla that you see in the photo. Sorry for the crappy picture. I took two and this was the best. It must be the lighting in here. Anyway… I really like this lotion. It’s nice, creamy and thin. It feels great on my skin and doesn’t leave any yucky residue or cakey feeling. It’s also not so much that my hands feel too moist. I can easily type after applying to my hands without my fingers slipping all over the keyboard.
Blue Ridge Gypsy also has another store Skin Free that is affiliated and uses the same checkout for easy ordering. Skin Free carries products for the face and body as well as baby products.
