It flew around the light for awhile, then eventually flew through the window in our back hallway. It stayed in there all night, even though we left the window and door open for it. I thought it was dead the next day because it was still there.
His brother came over and took it outside and set it on that flower to take a picture. It eventually flew away.

I know the bosy is a little creepy, but the wings are beautiful!

It *is* beautiful! We saw a lunar moth recently, too... although a bit different than this one. But, it was HUGE, too! (At first, I thought it was a bird.)

Great that you got such a wonderful picture...but I HATE moths. Yes,his wings are beautiful, but it's a MOTH. Oh good lord, I think I might have nightmares :)

I was saying how I'd love to know what type of camera this was? SUCH vivid detail right down to the hair/fur on him looking 3-D lol
