Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful time and rang it in with someone special. I did. I spent the evening among a couple of good friends, my brothers and of course my favorite 3 guys in the world.
I don't know about you, but I am no good with new year resolutions whatsoever. They seem to get broken right away, every time. So this year, I didn't even make "resolutions". I just decided that I will try to be healthier and focus on the good things around me. I will cherish every moment that I have with those 3 guys that I love more than life itself.
The end of 2010 was pretty rough for us, and I did not bid it a sad farewell. I was kicking that year out the door and so glad to see it go. Here's to hoping that 2011 is great and doesn't throw anymore bad luck our way!
Did you make any resolutions this new year?

Happy New Year! Sounds like you're in need of a fresh start, and I hope that is just what 2011 brings you.
I made a resolution for the first time in YEARS: No ice cream. At all. :(
Happy new year! I resolved to be more present in the moment
Happy New Year!!
Happy New year to you too!
I look forward to what you have in store for us in 2011.
Happy New Year to you as well! I discovered your blog recently, and I will be back often!

I completely agree about the New Year's resolutions! It seems to just set me up for failure.
Happy New Year, Mel! Yes, rough year here too...time to let it all go. I didnt make a full resolution, cuz I see that as a PROMISE to myself, and would hate to break that...so for me, just want to get more organized with my house and purge the junk. NOW to get my packrat husband on board!
Happy New Year!!!!
Fellow Blog Hopper:)
Happy new year to your family. I'm plan on losing 20 more pounds, but as I type, I'm stuffing a chocolate chip cookie in my mouth at midnight... Best laid plans, right?
Wishing you all the best for the new year and beyond. HUGS!!
Glad you were with the ones you love.
My resolution is to stop making New Year's resolutions (that I never stick to).
Happy New Year!
I'm glad that you were able to spend the new year with people you loved Mel! That's always the way to bring it in :)
I agree with you-I've given up on resolutions long ago because I think they are unrealistic goals that people pressure themselves into just because.
If you want to do something, you should go for it and not because you put pressure on yourself.
But hey, that's just me. Lol
