Summer has finally arrived and we couldn't be more excited! The weather's nice and lots of fun is to be had. New baby gift rut? Kid toy birthday gift rut? I know I find myself there quite a bit. Either I will get  the same thing, or it's the same old same old. I think I might be saved though- as I recently had the opportunity to review an adorable Monkey Activity Blanket from Douglas Toys. I must say that I am not familiar with Douglas Toys, and am thrilled to have them as a new go to company. They have high quality items and a wide selection on their site.

The duo loves this blanket- it has everything they love to chew attached! A couple of rings, tags, crinkly sounds, smooth silky material- and even a soft reflective surface to drool on (underneath the monkey head). The colors are bright and fun for boys or girls- and how great to be able to grab this and go without packing a million different little things that you might lose along the way.

These blankets are soft and easily thrown into the washing machine without a concern.
