Summer has finally arrived and we couldn't be more excited! The weather's nice and lots of fun is to be had. That's why we're celebrating this fun season as well as Mel moving into a new house on a lake here at Outnumbered 3 to 1. RIDEMAKERZ is such a fun concept for kids. What kid wouldn't want to customize his own car to play with? I know mine sure wouldn't say no!

In celebration of the release of Cars 2, RIDEMAKERS now offers some cool cars such as the WORLD GRAND PRIX LIGHTNING MCQUEEN, CLASSIC MATER and a few others.

My son had the chance to check out the Disney Pixar Cars 2 Hot Rod Lightning McQueen Deluxe Kit. It features the following:

The great thing about this car is that it came with everything that he needed to customize it just for him. As soon as it arrived on our doorstep, he wanted to tear into it. I was bust at the time, so I let him, even though I didn't get to take pictures of the process {which I really wanted to}. But him and dad went to town and got it all assembled. They had a blast doing it and I'm so glad they got to do it together.

Above is a shot of his ride, completely customized by him and dad. He's been playing with it quite often since. He really likes that it has more than one motor and it has a bunch of cool parts. The parts can easily be interchanged. The parts either snap on or are magnetic, depending upon which part it is. He got to pick all of his stickers out and we helped him place them where he wanted.

This is really such a fun toy for boys and it can keep them occupied for awhile while they use their imaginations. The older kids like it too. My sister said "It's really cool because it's more like a model with all of the different parts".
