Ever have pain? Like the kind of pain where you can’t really do anything about it? I have the absolute WORST case of TMJ. My dad had it, and as I grew older I remember reading that it may be hereditary and I hoped I wouldn’t get it. Well…somewhere in my mid 20’s I did- and oh man was it miserable. My jaw would pop out, lock, or click it seemed at any or all times. If I was experiencing any stress in my life- I would grind my teeth at night and wake up in the morning with a locked jaw and full blown flare up of TMJ.
