Hi Everyone - this is a crazy, busy, out of control week for me at work and home. I am not sure when I am going to sleep. On my "to do" list was to make a birthday card. One of my girls has a dance party to attend Saturday. We both love that 60's-70's look. The Groovy Times Cricut cartridge was too "hip" to pass up! This card was very, very fast to make.
Supplies
- Cricut cartridge: Groovy Times, HipGirl button
- Paper: packs of paper from Michael's, white, light pink, turquoise, lime green, orange, yellow, and pink (the girl).
- Stamps: My Pink Stamper
- Ink: StampinUp Tempting Turquoise
- Adhesive: any kind
After cutting out the layered daisy (4 inches) and the girl with my Cricut, I adhered the daisy layers together. Using the 8.5 x 11 white paper, score/fold at 4.25 inches, making the card 4.25 x 5.5. I adhered the layered daisy and the "hip" girl onto the card.
I was able to use my Gypsy and cut all the layers at one time.
Next, I stamped the sentiments (My Pink Stamper Stamps) on the card. I liked Rock On! and my daughter liked Party Animal too. She couldn't decide so and I was out of time, so I suggested both! Groovy!
Presto! You have a Groovy Girl card! Remember I love comments, so please let me know what you think of the card.
Peace out!

What a fun, groovy card! :)
From the look of everything, it sounds like it didn't take any time at all to get done-I bet that's nice when you're in a time crunch!
Thanks for sharing with everyone :)
I think this card is wonderful. How creative you are and talented. I love the colors and the idea is perfect. I am sure the person really enjoyed this birthday card.
