Ingenious. What better word could there be for this product? I also have long hair and it takes an awfully long time to dry it, trying to pin it up with my clip when I get out of the shower generally causes me to have headaches as the heaviness of wet hair pulls at my head. So I have two choices: Stand there after a relaxing hot shower and blow dry my hair for the next 30 minutes (Yeah right! Moms don’t get extra 30 minutes after a shower, complete myth.) or deal with it and go to bed with wet hair or (if I run away during the day) until my son is napping or there isn’t some pressing thing to do. When I first got the Turbie Twist, I kind of stared at the box. I kept wondering how this little thing was going to change my routine, seemed kinda small to do something so big…
It was a great excuse to escape to a shower though! I had pressed this importance and ran off to the one place I can relax for a whole 15 minutes! When I got out, I dried my hair and then I twisted it into the Turbie Twist and … well what do you know? It was so comfortable and soft. I was warm!
I actually wore it for the rest of the night until 1:30 in the morning and by the time I took my hair out it was mostly dry, all by itself! I went to bed without freezing and without having to spend a half hour in front of the mirror with a blow dryer. All in all, this little piece of towel did an enormous thing. Ingenious, I say, ingenious.
Just got out of the shower and want to put your make-up on before you do your hair so you know how to style it? Viola! It won’t fall off your head ruining your mascara while you are trying to apply (this happened to me). Want to lay in a hot bath after a shower but you don’t want your cold wet hair ruining it? Tada!
