Karite by Rene Furterer Hair Care Products Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

Pin It
Regular wear-and-tear from daily blow drying and excessive heat styling plus environmental stresses, including sun, wind and pollution, can wreak havoc on fragile strands. When the hair’s protective hydrolipidic film is weakened, external aggressors can easily reach the very core of the hair fiber, damaging the internal structure. The result: hair’s natural ability to protect against moisture evaporation is diminished, and vital nutrients and hydration are lost. Without protection and essential nourishment, both the hair and scalp become damaged. This damage impacts not only the surface of the hair, but also reaches deep within the shaft. This deep down
damage calls for deep down conditioning, and René Furterer has the answer.
I have curly hair, very curly hair. Most days, I would give anything just to have straight wash and go hair. Since that's not the case, I sometimes use a flat iron on my hair to make it straight. Of course, I know that wrecks havoc on my hair. That's why I'm always in search of products to help nourish and moisturize my hair.

Lucky for me, I was able to try some products from the new Karite Range from Rene Furterer. While these products do have a pretty hefty price tag, I was still excited to try them. Sometimes you do have to spend a little more to get great results.

The first product, intense nourishing oil is meant to treat. You spray this onto dry, unwashed scalp and hair before shampooing, leaving on for 5-10 minutes.
This luxurious, deep-conditioning, pre-shampoo treatment works to restore nutrition to very dry hair giving it exceptional softness and silkiness, while providing the protection it needs for revitalization.
When first using this, I noticed it was quite oily. You might want to be ready for the shower before you begin so that you don't end up staining any clothes. I'm not sure if it would, but I like to stay on the safe side. Immediately after applying the intense nourishing oil I could feel the difference in my hair. It felt much softer, silkier and lighter. I couldn't wait to try the rest of the products!

Next up was the intense nourishing shampoo.I squeezed a little into the palm of my hand and began lathering. It didn't lather as much as I'm used to with my regular shampoo, but I think it's supposed to be that way. It did feel like it cleaned quite well though.
A rich, gentle cleansing shampoo that intensely nourishes and restructures very dry, damaged scalp and hair. Repaired and revived, parched tresses are left soft and manageable.
Next up was the intense nourishing mask which conditions your hair. This conditioner felt great even to the touch. It felt like I was dipping my hand in a tub of lotion with little exfoliating beads.
This rich, deep conditioning mask nourishes and repairs very dry, damaged hair. In-depth restructuring reveals healthier, softer and more manageable hair.
After using all 3 of these products, my hair felt softer right away. After brushing and drying my hair, the softness and moisture stayed. It looks shiner and just feels so much healthier. My hair has honestly never felt better in my life. I was quite impressed by these products and look forward to my next treatment. These products are only meant to be used a couple of times a week {the nourishing mask once}, so the higher price tag kind of evens itself out. I am very happy to say that I have found a new hair care line that I will continue to use!
