Tiny Revolutionary is a company dedicated to changing the world by creating clothing that teaches children about peace, love, hope and responsibility. More than 15% of the company profits go to children's charities. You can read about the charities that they support on their website.
Tiny Revolutionary makes tees (or onesies) in infant, youth and adult sizes. I received one of their Adult sized This Shirt Saved a Life Giving Tees benefiting One Village at a Time (a charity dedicated to caring for children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Kenya). $10 is donated to One Village at a Time for each Giving Tee shirt purchased.
The great thing about this tee is not only does a purchase benefit a cause with such need (if you have ever heard or read about the terrible situation in Africa right now and the poor children who are left behind, it can't help but tug at your heart), but this shirt is cute and comfortable. When my shirt arrived I had to try it on and ended up wearing it on a date with my husband. I was asked several times what my shirt meant. It was fun to explain that the company who makes the shirts donates to save children in Africa.
The world is a busy, busy place these days. Nobody seems to have enough time for anything and it's really sad. Sometimes, you're leaving to some sort of practice for your kids right away after school. There's not much time for them to eat anything so snacking sometimes has to be the way to go. Farm Rich talked to moms across the country for tips on how to work wholesome snacks into these crazy schedules of families with school age children.
·Start the Week Off Right. For Bethanne Latkso of Worchester, Mass., organization is the key. “I have two kids, a busy husband, and I’m designing my own jewelry line, so I don’t have time for frequent trips to the grocery store. Instead, every Saturday, I map out the week’s activities and plan our meals and snacks around that.” Latkso says in addition to saving time during the week, planning also helps eliminate poor food choices. “Because I’m eliminating impulse buying, I make better food choices – everything from buying more fresh fruits and vegetables, to buying better snacks for my kids.”
·Mini-Meal Replacement. For Leah Welch of Brandon, Fla., a mother of two boys ages 10 and 12, snacks that serve as a mini-meal are a lifesaver. “We are constantly going between baseball, soccer and chess,” explains Welch. “Just before I drive them to an activity, I’ll pop something like Farm Rich Mini Quesadillas into the microwave. They eat them on the way to the game and they’re good to go until we can get home for dinner. It’s a much better choice than fast food.”
·Sneak in Wholesome Snacks When They Least Expect It. “When my teens are having a study group or a sleepover, instead of letting them load up on sugary soda and potato chips, I try to sneak in a snack that’s more nutritionally sound and the brain food they need,” says Nicole Mills, an Atlanta mom of three. If teens balk at serving friends fresh veggies and dip, parents can try Farm Rich Cheese Sticks or Mozzarella Bites made with real mozzarella cheese. Real mozzarella cheese is a good source of calcium and protein, but they don’t have to know that!
·Make Healthy Snacking Convenient. Kim Griffin, a business owner with two teenagers, says because her children are at the age where they can prepare snacks for themselves, “I stock the freezer with things that are easy to heat and eat. They like being able to reach into the freezer to grab a snack they can heat in the microwave and be ready to eat in just minutes.” With frozen appetizers like Farm Rich Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers or Mini Philly Cheese Steaks, they can have a filling and better-for-yousnack in just minutes. Or, suggests Griffin, put some Farm Rich Meatballs in the Crock-Pot, let simmer all day and bowl the kids over with the aroma when they walk in the door from school.
My family has been eating Farm Rich snacks on occasion for years. We are big time fans of the Cheese Sticks and eat those most often. I had seen some of the other snack varieties and tried a couple of them. Unfortunately, the grocery store that I used to shop at by our old house only carried a very select few varieties.
Living our here in a more rural area, our Walmart Supercenter is the store that I shop at most. It's convenient and their food prices are pretty decent for the most part.
I went shopping for Farm Rich snacks there and was quite excited with the variety they offered! I saw the Jalepeno Peppers and just knew those would have to go into the cart and come home with us. Jalepeno Poppers are The Man's favorite snack and the rest of us like them a lot too. So we were anxious to try these ones out.
They turned out absolutely delicious and we devoured the entire bag between the 7 of us!
Since the cheese sticks were always my favorite, I wanted to get those again. That was until I saw the Mozzarella Sticks! They are stuffed with marinara sauce already in them so there's no need to buy that separate! I have to say, they were quite delicious as well.
I will definitely be going back to try some of the other varieties such as the Philly Cheese Steaks, Stuffed Pretzel Bites and Mini Quesadillas.

Today's Fitness Friday is dedicated to hydration. Particularly keeping your kids hydrated for their many activities. Our kids are constantly on the move, whether participating in sports or running around the playground at school. Thier little bodies need to be hydrated, and many are choosing to drink sugar filled juice drinks and sodas instead of water to provide that hydration. Part of the problem for kids at school is portability. Sodas and juice drinks come in sizes that are easy to fit in a lunch box, whereas water bottles are usually too large. Plus, the packaging is just more fun! (And what kid doesn't want the fun packaging?)
Well, WAT-AAH is here to change things. Water in kid sized (10 oz) bottles, with fun images, and a great name is sure to catch their attention. I know my kids were all anxious to get their hands on one of the bottles sent to us.
We are an active family. My boys participate in soccer and my daughter is a dancer, and hydration is so important for my little athletes. But, each week at the end of their soccer games, they inevitably receive a sugar filled juice drink with a sweet treat (and I have to admit that I have been guilty of this as well). But with these fun bottle designs, kids are sure to love receiving WAT-AAH instead of their sweet drink.
My little soccer star hydrating with WAT-AAH!

"CLEAN+GREEN® are natural pet stain + odor removers. Our line of eco friendly, green cleaning productsare made from organic and biodegradable ingredients and packaged so you can recycle the container. Clean+Green offers a line of green home cleaning supplies for carpet cleaning and stain removal, wood and tile floor cleaning, and furniture cleaning. pet urine removal, pet stain removal and pet odor removal."
We have the cutest little Cockapoo whose name is Scottie. He has a nice area where he can rest, that happens to be on a tile floor. The idea behind choosing this space was it would be easy to clean and maintain. What I did not expect that we would be searching for products that were pet friendly. My husband did a great job of house training him, but there have been a few accidents. Combine that with Charlie, the dog we kept for a few days and while the area looks clean, it isn't.
I was very happy for the opportunity to review a can of Clean+Green Wood and Tile. It is an odor and stain remover and cleaner all in one.
Clean+Green Wood and Tile for dogs is a pretty versatile product. It can be used on:
Linoleum
Granite
Baseboards
Marble
Natural Wood
Wood Veneer
Tile
Slate
We have linoleum tile down in Scottie's area. Clean+Green can be used on all surfaces that are safe for water, so we are covered. I was expecting a lot of product usage with washing, rinsing and maybe re-washing to get it to work. It turned out to be the complete opposite. I did not even have to pull out my mop and bucket! Clean+Green Wood and Tile is very easy to use. All I needed to do was shake the can, point, spray and let air dry. If there was not enough time for the floor to air dry, I could have wiped the floor with a clean dry cloth. It took two times, but the odor came out!
The real test is when the kids came home. They noticed it smelled different but were not sure what it was exactly. I was concerned that there might be a strong cleaning smell, but there wasn't. We will definitely continue to use this!
Clean+Green Wood Tile is made of natural ingredients and is eco-friendly. It is:
Non Flammable
Non Toxic
Biodegradable
Non-Corrosive
Non-Carcinogenic
I liked using a product that work while being safe to use around the entire family.
"In summer 2011, Hasbro will bring action and adventure to the construction aisle with the introduction of the KRE-O brand. From favorite characters and high quality materials to unique accessories and collectible KREON figures, the KRE-O collection will excite builders of all ages. At launch, the KRE-O brand will offer twelve building sets featuring popular TRANSFORMERS characters. Packed with play, most sets come complete with themed accessories and a poseable KREON figures in robot or human form."
Boy will be boys and boys love their toys. I don't care what age they are. Even as adults the love them, their toys just seem to evolve {and get way more expensive!} over time.
Lil Man is still pretty into action toys, anything that he can make believe with. I just knew he'd enjoy the KRE-O Transformers Optimus Prime Basic Construction Set. It arrived while he was at school so I gave it to him as soon as he got home. Right away, he grabbed his uncle and they went to town putting it together.
"Even beginner builders can create one of the greatest AUTOBOT characters of all time with the KRE-O TRANSFORMERS BASIC OPTIMUS PRIME set. Featuring more than 65 KRE-O bricks and pieces, kids can build OPTIMUS PRIME in one of two modes, semi-truck ‘vehicle’ or ‘robot’ mode."
There are 2 different ways that you can build the KRE-O Transformers Optimus Prime Basic Construction Set, as a truck or a robot. I asked Lil Man what he thought of it and he said "It's cool", then "It was awesome" and finally "I had fun building it". I guess you can't get too much out of kids these days! He has been playing with it quite often, so I suppose that does show that he really likes it. I'll be grabbing a few of the other KRE-O TRansformers to stuff into his stocking this year!
Coupon: KRE-O Transformers are sure to be a big hit this holiday season, so you might want to grab a coupon for $5 off a KRE-O purchase of $20 or more. This coupon is good until 11:59PM on 11/27 so grab these fun toys while you can!

How to Successfully Earn your Court Reporting Degree Online
What are the common habits that drive the most successful e-learners
We get a lot of questions from aspiring court reporters, but one of the most common is: How can I ensure success with online learning?
As you earn your degree in court reporting, or any other higher-education discipline, the success of your education will be a test of your determination and will power. Online court reporting schools, as with other online schools your success or failure is your responsibility and no one else's. With that in mind, here are some of the habits and mindsets that have made online learners successful in the past:
1. They believe that to be successful at online learning you must believe that short-term sacrifice is well worth the effort - Taking a course on top of full time or part time work, or childrearing is a sacrifice—no doubt—but it’s those who make the best of that short-term sacrifice to achieve their long term goals that are the most successful online learners. It might take a realignment of your priorities, but in the long-run, these folks know that a degree will greatly improve their lives and the lives of their family.
2. They know what they want and how to get it – The most triumphant e-learners are those that set their sights on a clear and accomplishable goal. It might be to attain their court reporting degree, a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or doctorate in the program of their choice, but regardless, they focus on that goal and they don’t stray until they achieve it.
3. They do their research – You bet if a driven person is planning to pay for an online court reporter degree program, they’ll have done the research and evaluated the schools to determine if the program not only meets their level of accreditation, but is worth their time and money. Likewise, they will seek advice from a mentor, employer or professional association to ensure that the school and program meets the expectations of their industry.
4. They read and retain information easily – e-learners are on a tight schedule—especially if they have the additional responsibilities of family and/or work. With so little time to read the course materials, they require high reading comprehension and the ability to retain and remember that information for a test or assignment.
5. They aren’t procrastinators – Those who take online learning seriously, treat it as they would a traditional course or degree at a brick and mortar college or university. They don’t put off their reading assignments or wait until the night before to finish an assignment. Instead, they plan ahead and work according to their own schedule to complete their work to deadline. The last thing they need is someone looking over their shoulder to keep them on track. Instead, they are self-motivated and stick to a schedule until their goals are met.
6. They remain focused – The most successful e-learners aren’t easily distracted, they choose school over social engagements (for the short-term) and they don’t buckle under the first signs of stress. They set scheduled study times and ask that friends and family respect those study times.

The Twist & Click Stack Bowls are great! After making Judah's favorite Chicken Noodle Soup, I was able to put the rest in and set it in the fridge. It helps me know where his foods are and also I could stack them up so they have their own place. Judah can then pick out what he wants for Lunch! When we go out I fill it up with Fruits, which are really hard to take along otherwise, or Veggies like Broccoli and Carrots. They fit easy into a bag and YES you can stack them in your lunch bag for more space! Plus they're spill proof! Which has been tested, time and again, by Judah.

The Twist & Click Snacker is Judah's favorite. At first he was a little confused because the way it keeps snacks from spilling.
Once he realized that he had to stick his hand through it to get his snacks he was quite happy. He loves flipping the the Click top. Plus the Snacker has a handle so he can easily carry (and swing) it around and I don't have to worry about snacks being all over the floor!
I know, he doesn't like pants.
The Playtex Twist & Click Snacker & Stacker Bowl are great. They're easy to clean, easy to store and they keep the floor clean. What more could you ask for?
"Triumph Pharmaceuticals, makers of the SmartMouth line of products, was established in the mid-1990s, in St. Louis, Missouri. Its founder, Dr. Marvin Cohen, recognized a need for real solutions to a real problem: bad breath. With the distinction of being a leading authority on the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of halitosis, Dr. Cohen brought his years of extensive research and studies into the development of the SmartMouth products. He has published 13 research projects and lectured extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe. Most notably, he is the author of the bad breath (halitosis) section of the Encyclopedia Britannica, 1998 Medical Edition. Dr. Marvin Cohen works alongside Dr. Susanne Cohen, CEO and Co-Founder of Triumph Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Susanne Cohen's dental and business experience has provided Triumph Pharmaceuticals with a highly knowledgeable spokesperson for the company."
I can honestly say I don't know one person who wants bad breath. When it comes to maintaining fresh smelling breath for a long time, I have to say I am interested. Who wants to be caught off guard, I don't. I was recently able to review SmartMouth mouthwash, the Fresh Mint flavor. I was totally surprised to receive a package that contained two bottles. Right away my mind went to this is a huge supply of mouthwash!
A much closer look revealed that each bottle is a separate solution. When the two solutions are mixed, Smart-Zinc technology is activated. A huge number of zinc ions are released. This technology blocks the germs' ability to ingest protein particles. Because there are no protein particles, there is no new sulfur gas production. This means no new bad breath.
My 13 year old daughter and I were eager to give SmartMouth a try. We each pumped both solutions five times and gargled. The first thing I noticed that it does not burn. My daughter, Nannah, agreed with me. SmartMouth mouthwash is not very strong. You know how after you usually gargle with mouthwash and inhale deeply, there is a cool, tingly feeling. There was none with SmartMouth.
What is different about SmartMouth is that you can use in the morning to eliminate and prevent bad breath during the day. You can also use it at night so you can wake up with no morning breath. My daughter and I used it every day and night. The more we used it, the better it worked.
"It is well known that expectant mothers who have gum disease are more likely to deliver their babies prematurely; yet, according to a recent study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, expectant mothers who have gum disease and use mouthwash during their pregnancy are less likely to deliver prematurely than if they didn't use mouthwash at all. The study also found that regularly using an alcohol-free mouth rinse appeared to cut women's risk of early labor by three quarters. Please view the study here."
SmartMouth Advanced Clinical Formula Mouthwash will not stain dentures, crowns or teeth. It is:
100% Alcohol Free
Safe for Diabetics
Anti- Gingivitis
Anti-Plague
Safe for children 6 years of age and up
Dentist recommended
The regular SmartMouth Mouthwash isis available in two flavors, Fresh Mint or Fresh Cinnamon.
SmartMouth Mouthwash is available at store near you like Walgreens and Walmart for $10.99. There is a coupon on SmartMouth website that will save you $2.

The Myachi Original Hand Sack is a game and sport developed in 1998 by Steven Ochs. After a brief career on Wall St. that left him broke and disillusioned by the real world, Steven, an entrepreneur at heart, decided to leave it all behind to become the Myachi Man! Armed with little more than a sewing machine, a beat up motor home, and a dream, Myachi Man soon rounded up Kid Myach, Crazy Ivan, and a team of high flying Myachi Masters to spread the Myachi Movement all over the country the last 10 years. Myachis have even been spotted all around the world!
Myachi has created an incredible addition to their Original Hand Sack (of which 1 million have been sold worldwide) that makes it easier for kids to play! After teaching the game to thousands of people they had found that kids generally have smaller hands and that having a larger surface helps catch the Myachi bag easier. So they created Myachi Battle Paddles!
Catching a Myachi is like catching an egg, you have to give with it. Players may use any body part to perform any of the thousands of tricks with just one rule…NO PALMS ALLOWED!! You can kick it, flip it, and stick it, but to catch a Myachi properly you must absorb the impact, do not hit or bat at the hand sack. Fun for all ages, Myachis get everyone up, active, and inter-active!
The Myachi Battle Paddles were inspired by the design of a lacrosse stick head combined with the functionality of a baseball glove, when worn, Myachi Battle Paddles help players be able to catch a hand sack thrown from much greater distances and heights. They can also successfully perform more difficult tricks! You can also play with 2 or more players and battle it out 1 on 1 or make teams. The Myachi Battle Paddles also come with numerous games developed to play with a Myachi Hand Sack and Battle Paddles: Myachi Pong, Myachi Football, Myachi Lax, Myachi Golf, and many others.
I was given the chance to review the Myachi Battle Paddle and along with my son we tried to perform lots of crazy tricks, a lot of which didn't turn out very well but we are practicing! There are so many things you can do with it! You can even work out some neat Ninja moves.
After years of working on the design of the Myachi Battle Paddles, they're ready to manufacture but they need our help to get them onto the store shelves nationwide! With the help of Kickstarter, the worlds larger funding platform for creative ideas, Myachi is taking pledges to help make these toys available! For your pledges you can also receive Myachi Goodies!

If you've been around here for awhile, you've probably read quite a few articles about HEXBUG Nano bugs. They're fun little robotic creatures that seem to have a mind of their own. HEXBUG Nanos are a big hit in our house and with a lot of people we know, young and old.
Just in time for Halloween, HEXBUG brought out the Limited Edition HEXBUG Nano Halloween Zombie and Glows in the Dark Nano bugs and Habitat Sets. When presented with an opportunity to host a fun party in my house with these infamous little creatures, I just couldn't resist applying. Upon hearing the great news that I was selected, my whole family squealed with delight!
We were sent all of the tools needed to host a party for a bunch of our friends, including the fun habitat sets. Since Big Bro's birthday was a couple of weeks ago and the kit arrived just a couple of days before, I knew that I had to do it then. The party goers would have such a blast playing with these fun little creatures!
Here we're just getting started. The habitat is all set up {by moi because the kids were all riled up so we sent them off to play!} and we're ready to check out the HEXBUG Nanos! Check out the video below to see them in action. I did the video with the lights on so you could see how it worked.
As you can see, everyone had fun! We had kids ages 9-12, teenagers and adults all in on the fun! That's really what's so cool about HEXBUG Nanos, they're fun for all ages, young and old alike. I don't know about you, but I'm a total kid at heart, so I love finding toys that the whole family can enjoy playing with together!
We had 4 HEXBUG Nanos out to start with, each of a different color. We played in groups of 4 and started towards the end of the track. We had it set up where the HUXBUG Nanos would have to climb the ramps and enter the last hexagon. There was a stop sign that would let it enter, but not get it, so that's how we determined our winner. Each winner would then get one of the Limited Edition HEXBUG Nano Halloween Zombies as a prize to take home with them!
When we were done with that, we played a game suggested by HEXBUG and the kids had a blast! We played the Mummy Wrap Race and as you can see, they had somewhat of a difficult time! So difficult in fact, that I had to drop the camera and help them out! The kids picked a partner, then wrapped them in toilet paper like a mummy. As soon as they were both wrapped, each kid would run to the other side of the garage, pick up a piece of toilet paper {8 sheets long to be exact}, tag their partner, then he/she would run and grab a HUXBUG Nano. The teammate would run back and they'd race to get their HEXBUG Nano from one end of the toilet paper to the next. The winner would get a Glows in the Dark Nano bug.
In the spirit of Halloween, we even made some Dirt Cups. Here's Lil Man eating his!
Our party turned out to be so much fun and each guest got to go home with HEXBUG Nano {or two} and a spare battery. The Limited Edition HEXBUG Nano Halloween Zombies were the biggest hit of all! My kids still store theirs in the coffin that it came in!
