Years ago I had the pleasure of having a bath/shower with a seat in it. Then I moved. If you have ever had a seat in your tub or shower then you understand it is kind of sad when you don't have one anymore. I never realized there was a product like Butt Bench out there and when given the chance to review their product I was in heaven! Having a seat in the shower makes for a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere away from everything. It's also easier for Moms like us to shave since we don't have to contort our bodies or sit in unfitting tubs. Butt Bench rests on top of the bathtub so you can sit back, relax and even rest necessary items next to you!
Another wonderful way I realized I could use the Butt Bench was for a sort of Sauna. I take really hot showers so I just tilt the shower head away from me toward the drain and then just sit back, let the steam sweep over me with a washcloth over my eyes. Sauna's open your pores and it helps cleanse the body of dirt and oils. After ten minutes I can rinse off with cooler water, let my pores close and apply some lotion. It's really great for my skin.
In order to use Butt Bench you have to have a shower that fits it. A shower that has glass sliding doors won't allow it to rest properly and I noticed that having a tiled surface around the edge of the tub line didn't allow for the suction cups to latch steady enough. So the best showers/tubs for the Butt Bench are regular showers that need curtains and have a flat wall surface. The suction coupled with the resting position create a very safe and sturdy sitting area that can hold up to 300lbs.
ALWAYS keep close supervision with children in the tub and never allow them to be in the tub without it if you have the Butt Bench attached. These are very important Safety measures that Butt Bench details in their instructions. I did set up all of Judah's toys on it with all of his Rubber Duckies, but Judah always has my husband and I for Tub time. When not in use I always store it away. This isn't necessary but if you have an over active toddler like mine then it may be something to consider.
It's really an amazing all-ages tool that's great for holding kids toys to also helping our Seniors.
I LOVE having the ease of the bathtub seat for Mommy Time, for setting up all of my showering products and for holding 14 Rubber Duckies + 20 or so bath toys. It's comfortable and also a great tool if you have tons of stuff like my family.

I have advanced degenerative OsteoArthritis in both knees. This bench would be a godsend for me. I have tried traditional benches, but they take up too much room in the tub.
