Dinosaur Train Toothbrush Review & Giveaway - Valentine's Day Gifts {CLOSED}

DINOSAUR TRAIN™ is an Emmy-nominated and Parents’ Choice Silver Honor TV series, and is one of the top ten shows for kids ages 2 to 5. Young viewers join Buddy and his adoptive family of Pteranodons on whimsical adventures through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans as they unearth basic concepts in natural science, natural history and paleontology. The Dinosaur Train is a colorful locomotive, customized to accommodate all kinds of dinosaurs, and it has the ability to visit the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous worlds, while the Train’s conductor, a knowledgeable Troodon, provides passengers with fascinating facts along theway.

Created by Craig Bartlett, Dinosaur Train airs on PBS KIDS ® (check local listings), and embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains while encouraging basic scientific and thinking skills.

 Sonshine loves dinosaurs, his room is covered in them and he loves trains, he has a whole playroom full of them, so, of course, Dinosaur Train is the best thing in the world to him! Featuring the Pteranodon Family of Mr and Mrs Pteranodon and their children Tiny, Shiny, Don and their adoptive son, Buddy, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the show teaches preschoolers that being different is perfectly fine. It also teaches children important life lessons, such as proper dental hygiene.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month sponsored by the American Dental Association to raise awareness of important oral health for young children. Each year has a theme and this year's is Rock Your Smile. Developing good dental habits is important to start at an early age, as well as scheduling regular dental check ups to ensure your child has healthy teeth and gums to last their whole life. Unlike T-Rex's, who regain a tooth each time it's lost, humans only have a set of baby and adult teeth, so it's very important to keep them well taken care of!

To help your little chomper rock their smile, The Jim Henson Company is partnering with Sunstar Americas Inc., to launch a brand new Dinosaur Train themed toothbrushes! Buddy and Tiny are featured on the new Gum® twin pack toothbrush set. I was lucky enough to snag a pack before their launched this spring at H-E-B, Meijer, and online at GumBrand.com. Sonshine was very excited when I opened the twin pack giggling, "Buddy, Buddy, and Tiny! Dinosaur Traiiiinnn!" Such a silly kid, but I was happy to see him so excited. He already brushes his teeth daily and now, he has to brush once with each toothbrush, Buddy first then Tiny.
