Peaceable Kingdom - Feed the Woozle Cooperative Game Review & Giveaway! {CLOSED}

Pin It

Peaceable Kingdom was founded in 1983 with a single product – a poster featuring the beloved art from the classic children’s book Goodnight Moon. Twenty-eight years and more than 5,000 items later, the company has grown to be a leader in juvenile stickers, greeting cards, and games.

I was given the opportunity to review a Cooperative Game from Peaceable Kingdom called Feed the Woozle. A Cooperative Game is a game where all the players play against a certain obstacle rather than against each other. These games are wonderful for families because it provides lessons on teamwork, shared decision making and cooperation, no one feels left out or behind and it's a lot of fun!

Feed the Woozle is designed for ages 3-6 and can have up to 5 players. There is no reading required (except the directions) and the game duration can be as short as 15min, wonderful if you have little tots with short attention spans! There are actually 3 levels to Feed the Woozle for differing age groups, however the game is technically the same. Here is how it's played!

First! You set up the Woozle on a table, here we used a chair because my tot was pretty adamant about it being there, but a table would be more sturdy. Then, you roll the die to figure out how many pieces of food to feed the Woozle.

The food pieces are hilarious! Broccoli Lollipops, Toenail Toast, Hairy Pickles, Garlic Lemonade, Fuzzy Donuts and more crazy things. My son LOVES it, his favorite part of the whole game is probably just reading the Food pieces.

You put however many food pieces you'd rolled for on the spoon and then your child walks across, trying not to spill any of the food pieces, to the Woozle to feed him! For every successful piece that goes into the Woozle's mouth you get a Woozle square and when you get 12 you win! If you lose a piece, you lose a square.

Now if you have bigger kids and want more of a challenge then you include the spinner. The spinner has various things on it like Marching, Go Crazy!, Hula Dance, Walk Backwards, etc. It gives more of a challenge when you have to walk across the room to feed the Woozle while doing a Bunny Hop!

And if THAT is not enough of a challenge, then you go to level 3 and you do it all with a Blind Fold!

We absolutely love this game. It's actually one of the first that we can really all do together as a team without anything really too challenging for my little tot. He's extremely happy watching everyone be silly hopping and marching across the floor or helping everyone by handing us the funny named foods.

Peaceable Kingdom has many other Cooperative Games for families that sound just as fun! Check out these names!
