You may know Find It Games for their cylindrical ?contained adventures,? Now they have expanded their line to include?three new?jigsaw puzzles, under a collection called?Pieces of History, that mimic the finding activity of its award-winning and well-recognized contained adventures.?
Once the pieces are put in place, the history-themed puzzles?offer an instant lesson to children and adults as they read the parchment-like list of hidden items. Each is for?Ages 8 and up, and costs $13.
We were sent the Parade of Animals Puzzle to review and we had a great time putting it together. Then we had “bonus fun” when we got done looking for all the animals on the border and finding them hiding in the artwork. I love the item key that came with it. After we found each animal, we read the fact from the key. They are short, one sentence facts, but interesting so the kids liked what they learned without it feeling like a lesson.
I was also impressed by the sturdiness of the pieces, they are nice and thick and not flimsy at all. I hate when the tabs on my puzzle pieces get bent and we won’t have that problem with this one. The artwork is very nice and it would be suitable for framing, but my crew voted to put it together again so we took it apart.
