Spring Cleaning is Coming! Get Organized with the Space Bag High Capacity Storage Tote Review & Giveaway! {CLOSED}

Four years ago I got married and I had the most beautiful dress. It was my miracle dress, but that's another story. The veil and dress has hand stitched pearls and crystals throughout, this gown was unparalleled to anything I would have dreamed up and it has been stuck in a plastic bag all these years, folded up in my closet.

Dress
You'd probably consider that blasphemy, but I really couldn't afford the charges to get it stored, so that's where it wound up and then I hadn't thought of it until this space bag arrived and I realized what I could do!

See... all the wedding storing people do is place the dress in a vacuumed sealed bag, which is exactly what the Space Bag High Capacity Storage Tote is! So viola! Everything went into that bag: My husbands things, items from our honeymoon, my first wedding dress before I got too big to wear it. It was pretty incredible all the things I got into the Space Bag. The best part is, All Space Bag products are airtight, waterproof and reusable. They also protect against bugs, moths, dirt, mildew and odors!

The Space Bag High Capacity Storage Tote comes in two sizes:

  • Jumbo – Holds up to two bedding sets, four pillows and 12 sweaters or jackets.
  • Under Bed – Holds up to one bedding set, two pillows, and five to seven sweaters or jackets.

This is the perfect product for Spring Cleaning! Just think of all the extra blankets, clothes, pillows, curtains, sheets, or quilts you might have piling up in closets where you could have more space! I used to have two entire shelves for what I placed in the one bag that takes up no more than a few feet of space. I have decided that the perfect idea for this would be to use them for old winter / fall clothes for the family and then switch them come the turn of the season. This way they aren't pushed in the back of closets and/or shoved haphazardly in the dresser taking up unnecessary room. Here are some other great ideas from the Space Savers Community!

  • Gather up the plush toys and stuffed animals your child no longer plays with on a regular basis and place them in the Tote. Once compressed, these soft playthings will take up a fraction of the size they usually do piled up in the corner of the room.
  • Save space in your linen closet by placing guest bedding and extra pillows in the Tote. When overnight guests arrive, simplyunzip the bag and fresh linens will be ready to use.
  • Puffy winter jackets, ski attire and bulky sweaters have no place in the closet during warmer months. Place these items in the Tote and store it in the garage or attic. The airtight seal and canvas cover will protect items inside from dust, mildew, odors and pests during storage.
  • The Tote can also be used as a hand-me-down helper. Place outgrown children’s clothing in the bag and seal it for future use. Jot down the size, gender and season of the clothing on a piece of paper and store it in the Tote’s see-through window for easy identification later.

These are a must have! There are also differing sizes, The Space Savers Community offers organizing tips and special discounts in their monthly newsletter and online articles. Also, Space Savers community members currently receive 20 percent off a space-saving package of Space Bag products, including a High Capacity Storage Tote and four Space Bag Storage Packs! I would probably use the bags for comforters during the summer months, and swim towels and shorts during the winter months.

    I live in a 100 year old house with NO closets (!?!) My girlfriend just moved in and she has all of the things I guess you are supposed to have....lots of blankets and 2 comforters and pillows, and there is no where for them to go. A Space bag would be brilliant!
