*Giveaway Update* Tree Hut Bath & Body Products Review - Red Hot Valentine's Gifts {CLOSED}

Pin It

Tree Hut is best known for having perfected the art of using Certified Organic Shea in each product we make. Each Tree Hut product contains unique, indigenous ingredients that set them apart from all other products of its kind; from crushed almonds and Hawaiian Kukui nut oil, to coconut shells imported from the Polynesian Islands. Tree Hut products are never tested on animals, do not contain parabens or DM DM and as always, our products are produced in our own facility right here in the USA.

I'm learning that the older I get (and the younger I am), the more I should pay attention to my skin and body's health to keep me going. I've been learning it's a way of life; That what I put into and onto my body is very important. I just wish I had learned this lesson when I was younger! But now, I'm making up for lost time with Tree Hut's line of bath and body products!

I start out each shower with Tree Hut's Shea Sugar Scrub in Almond & Honey. Like all of their products, the Shea Sugar Scrub is made with Certified Organic Shea Butter and natural extract. The Almond & Honey scrub is also made with whole (read that: real) sugar grains to provide a gentle but deep exfoliation. I love how sugar scrubs feel, it's like when you were a kid at the beach and scrubbing your body with the wet sand. Only, this stuff smells amazingly sweet like fresh honey and deeply rich almonds. Rubbing with a soft, circular motion, the almond bits will buff away any dead skin cells, while the honey smooths your skin. Evening Primrose Oil helps stop aging, while the Orange Oil helps collagen formation, detoxifies, and repairs sun damaged skin! What an awe-inspiring feat in a simple jar. The sugar scrub left my skin soft, silky and smooth, making me wish summer was closer! Instead, you'll just have to pamper yourself for Valentine's Day (and the rest of the week too!)

After I use the sugar scrub, I lather up with the Shea Moisturizing Shower Wash in Coconut Lime. Just like the sugar scrub, the shower washes are made with Certified Organic Shea Butter and like all their products are Paraben-Free and DMDM-Free! The 16oz body wash is a luxurious, sudsy escape from the cold winter months. Using a wash cloth or loofah, I pour about a dime size amount of shower wash and escape into a tropical paradise! The coconut extract, which conditions your skin is perfectly balanced with the lime extract, which acts like a polisher to leave you with clean, fresh skin that is lightly scented. I like to close my eyes and pretend I'm on a beach sipping a frilly, lime based drink while slathered in coconut lotion! It's relaxing and pampering! In use with the sugar scrub, my skin feels baby soft and just begs to be touched all day long, whether it's cuddling a kid or snuggling with your significant other, you'll get the best compliments!

I was also lucky enough to try a Shea Body Butter from their upcoming line in Tropical Mango! I'm not usually big on body butters or lotions on my skin. I find them to be oily and sticky. But, after a long day, I took a late evening shower, used my sugar scrub and body wash and then after a smell of the body butter, I knew I had to try it! I was very impressed by the lack of oily feeling. After using the in-shower products, I didn't think my skin could be any more moisturized but I was wrong, the body butter left me with skin that felt the best it has in years. I didn't wake up itchy or with flaky skin after being in a dry room all night. Tree Hut's line of Shea Body Butter contain 27% Organic Shea Butter and each scent has it's own unique moisturizing ingredient, I'm going out on a limb here and saying this one has mango! Be on the look out for this pleasantly mild flavor in the future!

Tree Hut is a wonderful line of in-shower and body products that I feel good about using. I tend to shy away from products that I've never used, which is a bad thing! I wish I had given Tree Hut the time of day before, I always see them when shopping for my shower and beauty products. And now that I know they are made with Certified Organic Shea Butter and with a list of other ingredients I can read and understand, there is no reason why I wouldn't pamper myself without them again!
