I am new to this wedding planning stuff; so new that it’s kind of scary at times. My list of stuff needed is the longest list that I have ever made in my life. Planning and finding that perfect anything is quite hard to do and I look at countless things before I decide on something that I want. I can’t imagine how people planned a wedding before the internet. That though scares the daylights out of me!
I am especially thankful for online shops that sell wedding stationary. There are so many gorgeous invitations and save the date cards to choose from. You just have to look in the right places to find one that’s right for you.
“Wedding Paper Divas was launched in 2006 – as a stationery haven with an affinity for beautiful paper and fresh design. Today, Wedding Paper Divas is a member of the Shutterfly family of brands – which also includes Shutterfly and Tiny Prints.
Wedding Paper Divas prides itself on offering exclusive designs from the industry’s top designers, better than boutique-style service and innovative online tools to make your wedding stationery shopping experience as easy as can be?or dare we say enjoyable?”
I browsed the site at Wedding Paper Divas and found the perfect save the date magnets for us. It was almost like fate and I’ll explain all about it below!
If you’re a regular reader here, then you know we bought a house with a lake access lot last year. Half of the lot {left 25ft} that you see above is ours. {Yes, we have some cleanup to do once Spring comes for us!} This is where we will be holding our marriage ceremony in July. It’s the prefect place for an outdoor wedding!
The tree in that photo is a Willow Tree. Although not a “Weeping Willow”, it’s a Willow nonetheless. The arbor we will stand directly in front of this tree. Just wait til you see the save the dates I found at Wedding Paper Divas!
I found the Weeping Willow: Slate Blue save the date magnets shown above! Now tell me that isn’t perfect and quite fitting for our event. I believe in fate wholeheartedly and I know this must be since Wedding Paper Divas is the very first place I looked for save the dates!
These magnets come in other colors including creme, juniper and khaki so they can fit different color themes. I chose blue because of the water and sky in the background, totally perfect for the ceremony setting!
My save the date magnets arrived safely in a sturdy box. Upon opening the box, the entire set of magnets were wrapped in tissue paper, protecting them. Each magnet also has a piece of wax paper separating it from the next to avoid any damage. When I filled my envelopes, I kept the wax paper in from of the printed side to protect it during it’s journey from the post office to my guests.
