In March 1940, Dean and Betty Arnold baked the first two-dozen loaves of Arnold bread in a brick oven at the rear of a small house in Stamford, Connecticut. Placing their trust in superior ingredients, like unbleached spring wheat flour, honey, butter and eggs, they developed the golden rich bread that would soon become a leading premium brand with an international reputation.
My husband Alex and I are HUGE fans of sandwiches. When we make a sandwich we don’t do your typical meat, cheese and mayo. We go all out. I’m talking 3 different kinds of meat, 2 different flavors of cheese, red onions, romaine lettuce, and if we are feeling up to it a little bit of tomato as well. I also like to switch out my mayo for a little fat free ranch dressing which can get a little messy. A great way to keep the mess at bay is to stuff everything into a pita instead of using bread and I now have a new addiction…..I am IN LOVE with the new Italian Herb Pocket Thin by Arnold. These things are delish and just get better when you stuff them full of these goodies!!
I first fell in love with the Arnold brand a few years ago and became addicted to their bread thins and found myself using them every chance I had. The same can be said of these new pocket thins because the entire pack was gone in 2 days.
