Cheeky Umbrella founder Jen Zurowski never even owned an umbrella before she moved to the notoriously rainy city of Vancouver, BC on the west coast of Canada. After searching high and low for an umbrella that would stand up to the wind and rain, and yet still reflect her style and personality, the idea for Cheeky Umbrella was born. Today, Cheeky Umbrella manufactures rain umbrellas that are designed to brighten rainy days. Each umbrella has a stylish design and cheeky attitude, as well as strength and quality to keep you dry and protected. In our house, my kids have been known to fight over umbrellas. I have tried over the years to keep a nice supply in the house for them but we are now sown to two huge golf umbrellas my husband received from work and Xander’s SpiderMan umbrella. Needless to say, neither of my middle school children really want to be caught carrying one of these into school. We recently discovered Cheeky Umbrella and their beautiful and sturdy umbrellas. My 11 year old daughter Libby is in love with her new Polka Dots Long Umbrella. This umbrella has to be one of the most durable umbrellas we have ever owned. The outside is black fabric with a beautiful wave of polka dots over two panels and the inside is covered in multi-colored polka dots all over. The umbrella features a strong, lightweight frame; fiberglass, wind-resistant ribs; it is stain and mildew-resistant, durable and quick-drying. It also offers a slip-resistant hook handle and easy automatic opening. Honestly, when we received this umbrella, I could not believe how beautiful it was and my mother has already tried to steal it!
Not only does my mother want it, but my daughter LOVES it. Earlier today, she had a little photo shoot in her new dress, with her umbrella by her side. She was also really excited when the weather report showed that we would have rain on and off over the next few days and she would finally have a chance to use it!! (If you aren’t from Wisconsin, it has been an unusually dry Winter/Spring around here!)
