Guria Beachwear was launched in 2007 by Camila Ckless, a “guria” (“girl” in South Brazilian slang) who decided to follow her heart and create a business inspired by her passion for the beach and fashion. Our contemporary swimwear is offered in a wide array of mix-and-match separates in order to create the perfect bathing suit for all body types.

Guria Beachwear has been featured in multiple magazine's, including Woman's Day and the fabulous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Their Bikini's have a beautiful sense of precision and grace, with a wink of flirtatiousness that is incredibly desirable. I was given the chance to review one of their swimsuit's, Moonlight, which the name alone brings the imagination of summer night's romance.

The Moonlight Twist Front Padded Bandeau is made from 95% Nylon and 5% Spandex, however, I was telling my husband the other day that it doesn't even feel like swimsuit material. There is something elegant and soft that gives the impression that you are wearing nothing. Not in an awful way, as if you feel embarrassingly nude, just... as if you were draped in shadows and air. It's very difficult to explain, but I fell in love with the fabric from the moment I took out the top and ran it through my fingers. Guria Beachwear, I can only assume, knows exactly how a woman wants to feel.

Moonlight, as in their many other bikini's, is versatile. You could have the Twist Front Padded Bandeau, the Fashion Halter or the 3-in-1 Chic Top which you can modify three ways.

The bottoms can be skirted, fold over or scrunch tie and you can also style it up with a Beachside Cover-up or Tunic. All of which are in various sizes and the cover-ups with differing colors to fit your taste.

There are so many beautiful swimsuits, it was very difficult for me to pin down one that would reflect my personality and comfort. With names that make you daydream of endless ideas and desires.

And remember, they are all versatile, so you can mix and match the tops and bottoms to best fit your comfort. With Spring seeming to be Summer this year, it's certainly time to start shopping for a new swimsuit. Guria Beachwear is true to size, it has great elasticity (in a comfortable way) in case your size may be off a tad, but just in case you purchase incorrectly - they have a wonderful return policy as long as you the suit is in it's original condition.

Plus, I won't lie. There is something incredibly fun about wearing a bikini from a company that had made it into Sports Illustrated Swim Issue! And of course, my husband loved my new Guria Beachwear swimsuit!
