I have a secret weapon. It enables me to get a whole blanket to myself, my son off my lap, and in the winter, a fire going. It’s my cold toes! It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, which season, or the temperature. Those things are always cold! But, here’s the thing, I hate socks! I’m just a little bit crazy, I know. So, what’s a slightly neurotic girl to do? Well, wear slippers of course!

Hush Puppies Slippers by Grandoe are probably the most comfortable pair of slippers I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet. I received the clog design, Ginger, in black from their new Spring Break collection to test drive. These slippers are so soft, I felt like I had nestled my foot into a cloud. I almost wore them to bed, that’s how comfortable my feet were. With a closed front, my toes started to warm up, and with an open back, my feet didn’t get too warm.

I was unsure how much traction the bottom would offer, but, they were surprisingly skid proof. I did not slip across the kitchen floor once while cooking dinner. And, the plastic is thick enough that I can wear them comfortably out onto the deck or even walking down the driveway to get the mail. They truly are the perfect slipper for spring and into summer.

Another great design from The Spring Break collection is the Willow, which is your classic thong design slipper. These would be perfect to take when you get a pedicure, to the pool, or just lounging around the house. And, if you check out their website, you’ll see a whole collection of plaids, prints, and plush for the guy in your life as well! Women’s sizes run 6-10 (my size 7 fit perfectly!) and men’s run 9-13.
