I am, always have been and probably always will be a girly girl. I love to dress up and glam it up. I used to love wearing dresses and skirts, they just make me feel extra girly. However, I just haven’t been brave enough to wear a dress since being in my wheelchair. I just wasn’t sure I could pull it off. To complicate matters further, I am a plus size now and shopping for anything I feel I should try on needs the strategic coordination of a Special Forces operation. So, after a couple of these failed shopping excursions he and I decided I really rock a pair of yoga pants and a T-shirt. But there are lots of occasions I want to dress up for. Me all glammed up in my pretty dress.

I knew immediately I wanted to get a dress, me and the Hubby are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary next month and I really want to look good – and girly. The decision I faced here was extremely difficult, but finally I chose the Wish Upon a Frock Cap-Sleeve Dress and crossed my fingers cause it is a shorter dress. It got here within a few days and with me sitting hits me right around my knees, which I am very comfortable with. It drapes nicely and looks great. and I’ve already gotten compliments on it! So, now I know I can pull off a dress and where to look for one!
