Since we moved into our current rental home in 2007, my husband and I have been putting off purchasing a safe to keep all of our important documents such as birth certificates, social security cards and the all important binder filled with everything he needs if something happens to me. The safe is a nice size to hold everything, has an adjustable shelf, storage on the door, including a key rack and it can be bolted to the floor once we get settled into our new home. As I mentioned above, it is also great for stashing items the kids are ‘grounded’ from…..why yes, that is a computer that belongs to a tween on the bottom of the safe and an iPod touch in the door!
