Living on a lake, our summers are full of fun. There are so many things that we can do as a family from fishing, boating, swimming and even just playing in the backyard. The thing is, when we’re done having fun, I don’t want to slave over a big meal. I want a quick and easy fix. Tomstone pizzas and Nestle Drumsticks are definitely the way to go for some summer fun!
My family and I headed out to Walmart the other day to see the Nestle Drumsticks and Tombstone in-store demo. It wasn’t quite ready when we got there, so we looked around the store for a bit while we waited. You can view our entire path to purchase shopping trip in my #GrabSummerFun Google+ album.
Once the in-store demo was ready, the kids were able to enjoy some yummy Nestle Drumstick ice cream cones!
Later that day, we took a few boat rides around the lake! Our boat is still being fixed, so one of our friends is letting us use his boat. It only holds 4 people though, so we all had to take turns. It was still a lot of fun though!
Just look at that gorgeous view. It’s so beautiful and relaxing on the water. I could stay out there all day and just chill.
When we were done playing for the day, we went back to the house and preheated the oven for some Tombstone pizzas. It was a quick, easy and might I add delicious mealtime solution!

All in all, we had a fantastic day! As a mom, I’m really glad that we were able to have fun all day and I didn’t have to worry about slaving over dinner afterward. I was able to enjoy every minute of the day and it was wonderful! With the kids out of school and summer in full swing, I’m sure there will be many more days like this where we’ll want lunch or dinner fast and delicious!
