Help Get Rid of Pesky Spots on Dishes with new OxiClean Dishwashing Booster

With a family the size of ours, dirty dishes are in abundance around here. I can't stand a sink full of dishes, so I was really glad when we were able to get a dishwasher. While having one now is definitely a great thing, it just doesn't seem to do the job as good as doing the dishes by hand would. I'm sure the fact that we have well water doesn't help much either.

Lucky for me, OxiClean recently launched a great new product, OxiClean Dishwashing Booster. It acts as a booster to your regular dishwasher detergent to remove spots, streaks, food particles and cloudy film.

I'm not sure if you knew this before now {I know that I didn't}, but dishwashing detergent was actually reformulated because they contained too many phosphates, which are harmful to the environment. With the help of a product like OxiClean Dishwashing Booster, you can now get that shine like you used to from your dishwasher. Here are some interesting survey stats:

  • 69% of respondents either do not know what phosphates are (14%) or that they were banned from dishwashing detergents (55%)
  • 49% feel frustrated because they don’t know what’s causing the spots on dishes
  • Top three things that consumers believe cause the spots/cloudy dishes are dishwashing detergent (50%), hard water (34%), dishwasher not working well (30%)
  • Over half (56%) have switched their detergent 2-5 times
  • 88% agree or strongly agree that it is embarrassing to serve on dishes that have spots or are cloudy
  • Almost 1 in 3 (32%) say their biggest kitchen challenge is achieving sparkly dishes; 30% say spots on dishes are their biggest kitchen complaint

Mom Central hooked me up with a bottle of the OxiClean Dishwashing Booster and a clear plastic tray to test it out for myself. I followed the directions, loaded up my dishwasher and waited for the cycle to finish to see the results.

This is exactly what the tray came out looking like. I have to say that I was quite impressed because normally there would be spots all over any clear glass or dish. I will definitely be using OxiClean Dishwashing Booster as directed from now on!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of OxiClean and received a product sample and serving tray to facilitate my review, and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. All opinions are my own.
