My little Xander is obsessed with all things super heroes. He loves to watch movies and cartoons about them, play games featuring them, wear costumes and pretend to be them and wear clothes featuring them….daily. Yes, he is a little obsessed when it comes to super heroes.
Of all of the super heroes out there, his current favorite seems to be The Avengers. In our house, we have all been designated as a certain member of ‘the team’. Xander is Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Daddy is Hulk, big brother Zack is Hawkeye, big sister Libby and I are Little & Big Black Widow and then Ellie plays the role of Pepper Potts. Not only do we play these parts but he comes up with secret missions for us to go on.
Being the wonderful mom that I am, I am always willing to help feed his addiction by adding to his super hero collection. The newest item in his collection is an Avengers Vintage Inspired Solid Tee from Junk Food Clothing Co. – The Original Vintage T-Shirt Company.

From the first day he put it on he has pretty much lived in it. I had to slide it off of him the 2nd night after he fell asleep to wash it and have it ready to go first thing the next morning.
That has happened 3 more times.
Now that he started summer school this week he hasn’t been able to wear it as much. I fear that he will wear it to school and it will get covered in paint, marker or other artistic materials.
I love this shirt too. It is 100% cotton and features the retro Marvel Comics crime-fighting team, The Avengers. It is super soft, making my boy extra snuggly, and the graphics are hand-done. The t-shirt also offers a nice relaxed and stylish fit.
