Can you believe that Life Savers candies have been around for 100 years?! I know that I was quite surprised to hear that!
In celebration of that 100 years, Life Savers has created some limited edition packaging which includes a code. You can enter that code online and Connect for a Cause, which donates $1 to charity for each code entered! Donations will be made through JustGive to a charity of your choice from the 100 different charities listed.
You can also check out the 100 Year of Sharing Timeline and see what’s happened over the past 100 years of Life Saver history! For instance, the Fab 5 came into effect in 1935 with the addition of pineapple {my favorite!} and cherry to the 3 flavors, lemon, lime and orange. Life Savers Holes hit the market in 1990 and the Gummies launched in 1992. The timeline is quite interesting and definitely worth taking a look!
My family got to experience two of the new limited edition bags. I opened the first bag of Wild Berry Gummies, grabbed a few and that was all I got. These boys just tore them up, so I guess they thought they were good too!
