I recently had the opportunity to try out the Illuminating Eye Primer, Soothing Lip Primer and Soothing Balm.
Now, I will be honest, I don’t wear makeup that often and when I do wear it, I try to keep things as natural as possible. I have discovered that using these products helps me to maintain an even more natural look. Since Ellie was born, my skin has not been able to decide if it wants to be oily or dry so I have days that I look oily and days when my nose and other areas are so dry the skin in peeling. In the past I had been applying a moisturizer to help on the days my skin in dry and icky and it always leaves my face feeling heavy. Now that I have replaced the moisturizer with the Vera Wang Smoothing Balm, I have found that things feel lighter and I have a more smooth finish after using the balm with my foundation and dusting with some powder. The Soothing Balm can also be used to soothe dry lips, calm irritation and condition skin.
In addition to the Soothing Balm, I have also been using the Illuminating Eye Primer to create a perfect canvas before applying any of my eye makeup and have found that it holds the eye shadow colors I use longer and leaves them flawless.
Lastly, I have also been taking the Vera Wang Soothing Lip Primer for a spin as well. I have never been one to wear a lot of lipstick, but when I do, I do my best to ensure that it doesn’t get smudged and that the color remains bright. The lip primer softens the look of lip lines while keeping the your lipstick in place and reduces feathering along with brightening your lip glosses and colors.
