I've been an allergy sufferer for as long as I can remember. When I was young I visited an Allergist and did the whole prick test thing and they found I was allergic to pretty much everything in the free world. From dust mites to mold to any and everything that can pop out of soil. So, when Spring rolls around I stock up on tissues and prepare for battle. It's really bad here in Southern Illinois too, this year especially, the unseasonably mild winter we had has produced pollen the size of Smart cars and it came early. On top of long-time allergies, I also deal with a lot of chronic sinus pain.

Powerful relief from:

  • Nasal congestion
  • Sinus pressure
  • Sinus headache

This formula quickly relieves:

  • Nasal congestion
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing
  • Sinus pressure and headache

I take so many medications for my MS that neither my neurologist nor I want to add sinus or allergy medication to the mix. So when I got the opportunity to try an all natural alternative I jumped at it. The main ingredient in both Sinus Buster and Allergy Buster is casaicin, which is the natural chemical found in chili peppers that give them their heat. There is also eucalyptol in both and nettle in the Allergy Buster. Being made from these natural ingredients gives these products these benefits:

Fast
Begins to provide relief in under a minute.

Safe
Enjoy worry-free relief— as long as you need it.
Non-habit forming
Free of harmful side-effects
No known drug interactions
Zinc-free
(Compare with the three-day use warning on synthetic, chemically based sinus sprays.)

To me, this makes sense, because the first thing that happens when I eat spicy, I mean really spicy, foods is my nose runs. I like that I can use it for as long as I want without worry of harmful side effects and it is in no way habit forming. It does burn slightly the first couple of uses, which that possibility is stated on the packaging:

Upon initial use, you may experience a powerful sensation which lasts a few seconds. This sensation is part of the process that allows the capsaicin to work. Temporary discomfort such as burning, stinging, sneezing, or an increase in nasal discharge may result.
In my experience, the first time I used it I was so congested I didn't feel anything. The second time I used it I did feel a burning sensation, but it disappeared very quickly and after a couple uses I didn't notice it anymore.

Um ... I dunno. The primary ingredient in this stuff is like you say Capsaicin, better known as pepper. I'm not sure that I want to put that in my nose. In your review you seem to be dancing a bit around the question of if you have continued to use it. I would be interested to know.

Clinical trials have been performed for capsaicin, if that is pepper I am unclear how it works to stop sneezing, however I know that pepper does help with lots of things. Total effective rate of 89% sounds good to me!

I think I'd like to give it a try. The capsaicin sounds like it's good for people with bad sinus problems. Thanks for the giveaway!

I learned about the study abut capsacin which ends with this:
We conclude that intranasal capsaicin seems safe to use and that five treatments of capsaicin on a single day is at least as effective as five treatments of capsaicin in 2 weeks.
