Gerber Childrenswear “Big Kid” Training Pants Review – Springing Into Summer Fun

We’ve been attempting to potty train Sonshine now for a few months, but, I don’t know if he’s just not ready for it or, if he’s being stubborn about doing something new. I’m pretty sure it’s a combination of both of those things, but, nothing has seemed to ‘click’ yet.  We’ve been though every piece of advice I was given and just as I was about to throw in the towel and keep him in diapers until he went off to college, I was introduced to another, more helpful training aide!

Gerber Childrenswear offers a line of ‘big kid’ training pants that make learning and training easy, with less mess for mom and more freedom for your little one! These training pants are ultra-soft and look just like big kid underwear, but have an extra absorbent interlining to help with any accidents! And because they’re made of 100% cotton, these training pants are meant to be washed and reused again and again! No more buying disposable training pants, that frankly, are glorified diapers! And with the elastic waist covered in soft fabric, these won’t irritate your little one’s delicate skin, but will still retain shape and keep them in place all at the same time! Availiable for girls and boys, in the hard to find size 18 month, as well as 2T and 3T, everyone size is covered. (Sonshine is tall and thin and well on his way to three and I found the 2T a bit big on him!)

I found these to be one of the best training aides we’ve tried. Feeling and looking like real underwear helps my munchkin to feel like a ‘big kid’, while the thicker, absorbent panel has helped us lock in the few accidents we’ve encountered! And trust me, these training pants wash well and they wash clean! Sonshine loves to wear them and proudly struts his stuff around the house, they’ve given him the confidence to jump into potty training and made this mom very happy!
