Health care is a big topic these days. It's all over Facebook, blogs, the news, you name it; people are talking about healthcare everywhere. So many people are uninsured or under-insured.  This is an issue that so many people in our country face and it can be quite scary.

WALGREENS WAY TO WELL HEALTH TOUR WITH AARP

That's why I'm so excited to share information with you about the Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour with AARP. The tour will provide underserved communities with free health tests. That's great news for all of you local readers out there because the Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour with AARP will be in Milwaukee beginning 7/12 through 8/4 where they will provide free health tests, educational materials and consultations.

You can visit the mobile tour which focuses on prevention and early detection of some of the leading diseases that affect our society. You can stop in and get a free health test valued at over $100. The tests take about 20 minutes to complete and anyone over 18 is encouraged to visit. You don't need an appointment or insurance.
The free health tests provided include:
  • Cholesterol
  • Glucose
  • Blood Pressure
  • Body Mass Index
  • Body Composition
  • Skeletal Muscle
  • Reseting Metabolism
  • Visceral Fat
  • Real Body Age

The great news is that we can all help support the Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour with AARP. Simply purchase Walgreens brand health and wellness products and a portion of each purchase will be donated through the Walgreens Way to Well Fund. One cent from the purchase of each product {up to $3 million annually} will help bring preventive wellness services to local communities.

It's a great feeling to know that you're doing what you can to help those in need and this is just a wonderful way to help by purchasing products that you already use. I know a penny sounds like such a little amount to us, but each and every penny adds up! If I buy 5 things and 19 of my friends buy 5 things, then that's $1 already. Imagine the difference we could all make in a year if we spread the news!

I was compensated for this post. All opinions expressed are my own. Take it or leave it.

What an incredible program, especially for people who might have issues affording those tests themselves!

That's so great! I didn't know it was coming to my state! I don't live in Milwaukee but I do think it's great for those who could use those services!
