Win a Red Carpet Movie Experience in the Bagel Snack Star Sweepstakes

As you know, I love to try new things. However, I tend to stay in my comfort zone, trying things that I know I'll like, or someone in my family will. Well we recently had the chance to try something outside the box, something that I wasn't quite sure of.

New York Style Brand recently launched new Mini Bagel Crisps and they sent us a couple of bags to try. We received a bag each of the Mini BBQ and regular Garlic flavors.

We're big fans of bagels around here, so I thought that I might like them. I just wasn't so sure about the kids. You know kids, the pickiest people on the planet; the people that love something one day, then hate it the next. So we dove in full force. I grabbed some cream cheese, put the snacks and the counter..

and we did some taste tests. The kids weren't too big on the garlic flavored bagel crisps, but I loved them. They paired perfectly with cream cheese. Lil Man is a huge fan of anything BBQ, so I told him to try one of those. He might like it better. Well next thing I knew, he'd eaten about 1/4 of the bag! He said "These things are just toooo good"!

New York Style Mini Bagels come in 4 different flavors and I'd like to try the rest. They would be perfect for summer entertaining and you could serve them with all different kinds of things. Of course cream cheese is the obvious, but I bet they'd pair good with a delicious cheese log or even port wine cheese, yum! Guacamole might be a good match too, you never know.

Summer Snacking Tips

• Keep it simple, finger foods only.
• Don't serve anything you need to cook first, nobody wants to slave over a hot stove in the heat.
• Make a healthy buffet with bagel crisps, veggies, fruits and a few different dips and cheeses.
• Serve a simple dessert like jello or pudding.
