As a Pin the Halls participant, I will be sharing some holiday ideas through Pinterest. For starters, I've created my #PinTheHalls Holiday Wish List that includes some things from my family's holiday wish lists. Some are attainable and of course, some are not; as goes with most wish lists! Later this week, I'll be sharing lots of fun holiday craft ideas that you and your children can create together too, so stay tuned!
Now, onto my exciting news. I got a new laptop! It was on my wish list, and I never thought it would happen, but it did! Last week, the HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4t-1100 arrived on my doorstep and life just hasn't been the same since.
My family and I have been playing around, trying out some of its features. I'm having fun testing and getting used to the touchscreen as well as Windows 8. The kids are getting silly style, making funny photos and videos with the web cam. The Man, he's just helping me figure it all out along the way, since he's much more tech savvy than I!
During the next few weeks, I'll be playing around with my HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4t-1100, listening to music through my new HP Portable Bluetooth Speaker and making fun printables. Blogigng will never be the same again as I will now be able to work from anywhere, on a nice and speedy machine; much unlike my kids' little mini netbooks I've used in the past!

Right now we are in the middle of finishing up backlogged flex plan receipts and forms. Ugh... I would use this with all of our paper work to SCAN to email my husband, so he can send on to the flex company and NOT procrastinate til the end to get this done. Plus, we have two teens with TONS of homework projects, especially writing projects. Our printer is down so they have to take their memory sticks and media cards to school to finish things on their free time there. It is so embarrassing for them,. so they would use to actually print out their projects AND get the school to accept 2 sided reports to save paper. That's a nice feature.
