**Strongly Feminine** Workout Shirts Made to Inspire

It's that time of year where a lot of us are crafting our New Year's Resolutions. The number one resolution happens to be "get in shape/lose weight" and for this mom, that's no exception. I had hoped to get back to pre-baby weight minus a few pounds but found the scale going up over the year instead of down. It's been a combination of things, but one of them is motivation. When you're uncomfortable or just don't feel 'right', it can be hard to get motivated to just do. For me, it sometimes can just take a simple thing, like, a fun and girly work out top to get my behind in gear!

Ruffles With Love are hand made work out shirts meant to inspire. Owner Vanessa Hodge is a girl after my own heart. She loves ribbons, bows, ruffles, lace, and pink! Plus, she's an avid about sports and fitness (things I strive to be avid about!). So, what happens when you take these two aspects of life and bring them together? Ruffles With Love. A line of custom made work out shirts with glitter, adorable sayings and, of course, a bow to top it off!

Front and Back

I was able to review the Carpe Diem, Seize the Day racerback tank which just happens to be one of my favorite sayings. Vanessa custom makes each tank from American Apparel shirts. The Carpe Diem shirt is sold in a maroon color and you can customize the bow on the back. I loved the leopard print one it came with though, just a nice little punch of print against the back.

The tank itself is ultra soft, made from tri-blend or 50% Polyester / 25% Cotton / 25% Rayon. The cotton allows it to breathe while you work out and keep it shape and elasticity thanks to the polyester. The rayon offers a unique texture allowing the shirt to drape over the body, which gives you a more slimming, flattering look.

I ordered a large size and it's a bit tight across the chest. If you are busty, I would go up a size or two than normal, which is pretty uniform for American Apparel shirts. I also suggest wearing an under shirt, another racer back or for the winter time, a long sleeve work out shirt that wicks away moisture until the weather gets warmer. And, if you're not planning to work out that day, pop off the bow and wear it to bed! It's so soft against the skin, I could wear it all the time!
