Beauty Stop Online is your one-stop shop for all things beauty, from head to toe. I received ColorSmash Party Pink Hair Shadow to review, and I knew my 7 year old daughter would flip over it.
There are no chemicals, it does not damage your hair, and it is simple to apply and to remove.
To apply, moisten the portion of hair you want to color, then "smash" in the shadow. Set with hair spray or heat, and you're set until you shampoo!
I didn't have any hair spray, so I used my straightening iron. I believe hairspray would be more effective; the color was more dramatic before my iron rubbed a lot of it off! I was curious if it would work as well on dark hair.
Yep, it sure did! My hubby said "whoa!"
My daughter has used the hair spray type color before and it's stinky, sticky, imprecise, and difficult to scrub out of scalps (I know from experience on that one!) The ColorSmash Hair Shadow smelled good, left hair soft, and rinsed right out with no special attention.
I would also recommend hair spray for extended staying power...I put a paper towel in my hand and then ran my hair through my fingers. Not a lot of the color came off, but hair spray would be better to set it in my opinion.

That sounds so much better than the spray dyes. I'll have to check this stuff out for Halloween this year!
This looks so easy to use and fun! And I like that it really does live up to the promise of washing out easily.
I was thinking the same for Halloween, but the kids also have times in school where special days could warrant this. For instance, Homecoming week festivities always has the kids doing the hair color to show their school colors...literally! Plus a harmless way to show some of your own style without getting completely crazy and coloring like some do...just my opinion, some of it is way overdone.
