Happy 11th Birthday Lil Man

It's hard to believe that 11 years have gone by since the day my "baby" came into this world. 11 years of joy, tears and laughter have just flown by in what seems to be the blink of an eye. I guess as the saying goes "Time flies when you're having fun"!

Each person in this world is different and unique in their own way. The same goes for our children of course too. Mine, they're completely opposite from each other. Yet, they have some of the same traits and are alike in many ways as well.

Lil Man is special to us for so many reasons, too many to ever list in a single post. Instead, I will share just a few of the awesome things about him.

• He's the sweetest kid in the world when he wants to be and he has a heart of gold. He would do anything for those he loves.
• He's funny, actually comedic at times. His laugh is often contagious.
• He's not afraid to show that sensitive side like most boys are.
• He loves to cook. He's learning how to cook without help  and actually does a pretty good job!

I'm so proud to have him as my son and to celebrate another year together. For his birthday, we made his favorite food, Hot Wings {recipe to be posted tomorrow!} and bought an Oreo Ice Cream Cake! He's even all messy from helping make and eating the Hot Wings!
