Now if only I didn’t have a Windows phone, this is something that I would totally use. I get at least a few what I call “spam” calls a day. I can handle the spam through email, but surely not on my phone. It’s annoying when I’m in the middle of something and the phone rings, I go to answer and it’s a telemarketer or some ridiculous recording. Honestly, I don’t think anything annoys me more!
There is also a “reverse look up” feature that allows you to look up any calls that you don’t recognize by name and either add them to your address book or block them. You can also complain to the Federal Trade Commission {FTC} to take appropriate action.
Now that is big to me because I have screamed and yelled at the same company over and over again to stop calling me and they will not quit. Instead, they call from different numbers. However, I know it’s them since they’re talking about the exact same stuff!
Now only if they could make an app for my home phone! We just got it a few months ago, bundled in with our cable and internet. We really have no use for it, but it was cheaper for the bundle. Not one single person we know has the number, but we get at least 5 calls on it daily. Most of the time it’s for the same person. I’m constantly telling people they have the wrong number. Yesterday, another person called back from the same place even after I told them, how annoying!
