I have always been and will probably always be one of those organized people. In school I always had those notebooks with fancy tabs that were always labeled and I never had a stray paper in my backpack. Since becoming a mom I find myself slacking in the organization department but as my girls get older it will be more important than ever to keep myself organized.
I am always looking for better ways to get organized. Sure I have my smartphone and even though I am using it all day to play I don’t much care for it as an organizational tool.
I was super excited to get to review a Tailor Made Whiteboard that is customized to what I need. This is exactly what I had in mind when I wanted to get more organized.

For me I chose the Menu Board. I am constantly waiting till an hour before dinner to decide what to eat. Of course that usually means I don’t have what I need to even cook it. For months now I have wanted to get a menu in place but never got around to it. Until now that is.
I chose the Oak, Menu Planner, 24″ by 18″. Here is what mine looks like:
It arrived in a box very well wrapped up and the corners had cardboard on it to prevent it from getting damaged.
It has plenty of room for all the information I could possibly need on it. I also like the shopping list section. Now when I go to the store I just snap a quick picture of what I have written down and then I have my shopping list with me.
The optional tray is especially nice since without it I would have dry erase markers all over the house. In the picture if you look close you can see the clear dry erase surface that is on top of the insert.
Very nice and sturdy. When you pick it up it has some weight to it so you know it is well made and not made like the cheap whiteboards you can get at office supply stores. It has slots for the nails (included) to go in so that once it is up it is nice and secure.
Another nice option they offer is the ability to order your whiteboard with a changeable frame. That way in the future if you want a different insert you can just buy the insert and put it in your current whiteboard. I chose this option because I like the ability of changing it over to a chore chart when the girls are much older.
They offer the choice to add a photo to your insert and 4 wood colors for the frame.
If the one I got is too big for your house they also have space saver versions that measure 18″ by 12″ long.
Overall I am extremely impressed with my whiteboard. It was exactly what I needed to get my butt in gear and start planning my meals in advance. This will also help us to eat healthier because we won’t be getting take out at the last minute because of my lack of planning.
