I had a student ask me the other week if I was going to PROM? I gestured to my growing belly and said I didn?t have anything to wear. Of course my students came up will all kinds of suggestions, but fortunately I was presented with the opportunity to review a product from Pink Blush Maternity. They offer trendy maternity clothing at excellent prices and currently they are having an incredible sale that has lasted for weeks, not just days. Here are just a few of the dresses I had to select from.
I chose to review the jade cap sleeve maternity maxi dress from Pink Blush Maternity (top right in the above photos). They were having such an incredible sale that I had to go with my forth choice, which of course, turned out to be the perfect dress for the occasion. Although I have taught high school for the past four years, this was my first prom since my SENIOR PROM in high school. I?ve always loved any shade of green for fancy dresses, and I thought this one would be perfect to dress up or down.
As time drew closer to PROM I didn?t think the dress would arrive in time, but the morning of the event the dress arrived. My husband asked if we were still going and I told him it was up to him. Yes, we went. What an adventure, but enough about PROM.
I?m always scared to order online due to my body build. I went with the medium based on their size chart, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it fit perfectly. It covered me in all the right places, and the cap sleeves even allowed you to wear them either on the top of your shoulders or the sides to make it even fancier. As you may be able to tell I seldom wear dresses. I can count the ones I own on one hand. I?m only about 5?5 ? inches and whenever I try on maxi dresses they are always too long, but this one fit perfectly! Now, I am prepared for any occasion that may present itself.
