I have been using cloth diapers for over two years, but I had never used an AIO (all in one) diaper so I was very excited to receive the Smart One 3.0 by Smarts Bottoms for review. Smart Bottoms diapers are made in the U.S and the Smart One 3.0 is made with certified organic cotton. The Smart One is a one size diaper; meaning it is designed to fit kids from birth to potty training, about 8-35 lbs. The outer of the diaper is leak free PUL and the inner features a snake style soaker which offers up ten layers of organic cotton. The Smart One 3.0 has four different rise setting which allow for adjustment as the child grows and is available in 9 different bright colors and patterns.
I received the Smart One 3.0 in their Little Boy Blue print. The colorful blue and yellow dots are even more adorable in person. I have a squirmy 9 month old so I had to play around with the snaps a bit before I found a great fit for my little guy, but once I did I was quite impressed. The 3.0 is a really trim diaper. I’m use to using pocket diapers, which I usually stuff with two inserts so they can be quite bulky and make it hard to get fitted pants over. I did not have that problem with this diaper. The trimness of the Smart One 3.0 was definitely one of my favorite features. This would be a great diaper to use with those tight fitting jeans that are all too popular right now.
