Father’s Day might have already passed, but that doesn’t mean a thing. In many cases, dads are the foundation of our families and they work their butts off to provide for us – giving us a wonderful life.
Men don’t generally think about themselves when it comes to clothing, footwear and that sort of thing. My dad was that way, my husband is that way and my FIL is exactly the same. I’m the one who says “Honey, you need some new pants” or “Wow, your shoes are quite worn. Time for some new ones”. I’m always shopping for him and picking out a lot of the things he wears.
About a month ago, I wrote a review for the Gimmer Sandals from Flojos. I adored them so much – for their style and comfort – that when Flojos contacted me again, I knew that The Man had to give them a try. We chose the Parker Sandals in Brown, mostly because they had the same egg crate-like soles just as mine do.
“Sport like strap and massaging mini-egg crate with arch support, the Parker has everything a guy wants in a sandal; style and comfort.”
His Parker Sandals arrived about a month ago and he has been wearing them ever since, every time that he wears shorts. He loves them because they are super comfortable, more comfortable that other sandals he’s worn in the past.
The photo below was taken yesterday, close to a month after he got them. He wears them often, pretty much anytime that he’s not working or wearing regular shoes. The Parker Sandals have really stood up and show absolutely no wear and tear. You would be surprised at that if you witnessed how fast he can ruin most shoes!
Now that The Man and I each have a pair of Flojos and both love ours, I will be purchasing Flojos for the whole family. My boys could use a new pair of sandals for the summer and I think my brothers would like a few of the styles too.
When I find a brand that I love, I generally stick with them. This is especially true with footwear for myself. The bonus kicker for me is the price. All of the Flojos sandals are quite affordable!
