I know you must be thinking how can I be talking about Halloween when school just started? The reason this review is up now is so that you will have plenty of time to buy your own Countdown Cal in time for counting down until Halloween and the winner of the giveaway will get theirs in time too!

The Halloween Countdown Calendar will begin on October 16th with the opening of the first flap that has the number one on it and you pull the flap down to reveal the chocolatey goodness inside.

This review piece was all mine and it was tasty! The girls can wait to start their own on October 16th!

See that RIP headstone on the first flap? It is also a game where your child then tries to find the matching picture on the back of the box. The countdown pal on the top right corner of the back is for kids to mark off each day as well giving yet another fun element to this box of chocolate!

These are made here in the USA and the treats are OUD certified Kosher. Since waiting for a Holiday can be hard for kids this definitely makes the waiting game more fun! I can easily seeing this become one of our family's annual traditions!

  2. i learned they play real acoustic instruments, recorded live in the studio and mixed by a skilled engineer sparing you the soulless sound of computer generated instruments and synthesized soundscapes so prevalent today.

  8. Well, the link takes me to a website called Jazzzz for Babies (I think that is what it was), and I looked at everything connected to that company to see if Countdown Cal was hiding somewhere there. Then I went back to this post and tried another place where there is a direct link to CC and that took me to an actual website with information about the CC folks. So. . . now I know the product is Made in America. But for other folks who wish to enter the giveaway, please fix the link that takes one to the wrong website. It's in the box labeled "Leave a Blog Post Comment" which starts out "Head on over to Countdown Cal." That link is to a different product. Thanks!

  26. I learned that for Halloween 2013, Countdown Cal is excited to launch the new "Publicize and Profit" fundraising program for schools or preschools, teams, youth groups, charities, and other groups interested in earning easy, extra money to support their activities. The simplified program is online, with no cost or risk to the school or group. I think this would be so neat for our student nurse association (SNA) to raise money for graduation :)
